Putnam vs Dallas -Putnam is the underdog, but they are here while other teams are relegated to forum browsing

Atlanta vs Vermont -Vermont the last hope for the old guard of the East to face the newcomer ATL juggernaut that has pillaged both conferences this year.

Your right USA 8 is a lot of fun with some good people and teams.

If any defense can hold down ATL its yours. I want a rematch from last years title game so I am bit biased as who I want to win.

It's going to be a tough game but I'm hoping we can come out on top. Killer, you have quite the stable of players, which do you think is the most challenging build? I would say DE but what the hell do I know

The answer is always depends.

There is no constant way to measure player vs player build.

The most difficult build to me is linebacker because you can spend so many points on attributes and SA's and on the surface it looks good. Then depending on the type of defense you play and the offenses you face you are either great or fail. Add into that the advanced settings for player and its a huge headache.

With the advanced defensive AI for season 4 there is going to be a big change and we will see which builds can be leveraged to make a difference and whose just looks good on paper.

Dallas has an offensive and defensive philosophy and starting in season 2 we brought in players that would buy into it. Hopefully we won't wake up someday and bort tweeks something and it make our way of doing stuff suck.

Here is my season 3 xp DE build http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=627649 it's open

Here is my de similar to yours http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=125645 sorry - gotta keep it closed

I like his build and he has no wasted points. He boosted late so he got those hurries and sacks against OT's normally 3-5 levels higher. Goes to show you its all build not lvl

For the fact you don't have any equipment on that level 8DE, that's a pretty strong dude.

JRoy - The lvl 8 De also has 23 unspent skill points.

As soon as his agility is trained up till the end of the season then I will apply them to max agility to 48. Then plan to boost him 3 levels this season.

I will move on to speed next to max that will be about lvl 15/16 depending on training. I train on relaxed and plan to put his equip in stamina for now.

An alternative to boosting speed is to get agility to raw stat of 60 and then do the same for strength.

I use my low level players for experimenting with build tech and strategies.

Killer, thanks for the reply....I always thought that it was the QB on offense and the LB on defense, guys that are pretty much asked to do everything on their side of the ball. My son just asked me today if he could make a player (he's 9) and now I have to figure out which position and how to build him.....I could be in trouble I'm hoping he'll go defense but I bet he'll want a RB or WR.

BTW, that is going to be one badass DE!

When you create a player (I've only done one) what are you looking for when you reroll? I assume all 8s are good? Is that for a specific position or just a good base for any position? Sorry for the questions, it would be nice to know what to look for going in.....thanks in advance.

It differs for each position, and you only want 8s in the non factor attributes, such as kicking and throwing etc for a DE
