I have just created a powerback and he is level 2 at the moment. His Str is sitting at 26.

I was wondering how is the best way to build a powerback from scratch.

I was thinking of putting every skill point I get into STR until it reaches 48(Without equipment) at least.By that time he should be level 7.
Then go balanced into Speed and Carrying...

Im not actually sure what to do...Can you guys please guve me some hints

Yeah, I'd do strength to the soft cap. I'm guessing that carrying has a lot to do with breaking tackles, so if I were to make a power back, I'd make that high as well. But that's just me though, I'm not sure.

Watch it with that soft cap shit. Tweaks are being made to the game. Those peeps who max attrib out and neglect others are going to be in for a suprise.

Im personally going with a more rounded approach. I do a 3 lvl rotation. 2 lvls or 10 SP, I put 6 into strength, 2 in agility, 2 in speed. The other lvl or 5 SP, I put 2 into carrying and 3 where ever.

This seems like a very good plan to me. Stick with it.

Give good advice or give no advice.

I think you just described the two posts. David gave good advice and you gave none.

Strength is good start, carrying does help break tackles.

Agility is important, but there are some cases where PBs who focus on speed over agility performed better, but I think that will come to an end with Bort's changes to agility.

id say agility is more important than speed with powerbacks because when they break a tackle they need to get going again, am i right?
