Stuff like this makes me laugh. People from PTown getting votes because the team was so bad they had a lot of defensive plays, yet people from the #2 defense in scoring and yardage allowed doesn't have a body on it. It's why I don't participate because it's either a popularity contest or about meaningless stats.

No Bombers did either. It's funny what the stat padding blowouts do for ya' in these situations. Please don't get me wrong, I have the utmost respect for every team in our conference... but I'm just about honored to have no one from our team involved because it means our philosophy worked out for the best.

you gotta take these polls with a grain of salt. There isnt a single person out there that can seriously give legitimate answers. Everyone just looks at the stat page, and goes hm.. he must be good.

So what you are saying is that it is just like the NFL pro bowl voting

Unfortunately most of us can only go by the stats pages, we don't have the time to go through every game, play by play to decide who had a good season.

Also some of us (me) aren't knowledgeable armchair experts and know the subtlies and nuancies of the game. I'm still trying to work out when you get to pull a goalkeeper on a power play ? (that last bit was a joke I know its really basketball)
