So for a recap here it is in list form. Once again, the easiest schedule is on top. And the number in parenthesis next to the team name is the place they finished in after the regular season.

West-

1-Oh Canada Ehs (3)
2-Firth River Freeze (6)
3-Thunder Bay Bloodhounds (1)
4-New Jersey Hood (7)
5-Moose Jaw Blazers (5)
6-AU Tigers (8)
7-Ft. Richardson Rangers (4)
8-Yellowknife Bandits (2)

East-

1-Vancouver Valiants (5)
2-Canadian Bacon (1)
3-Prince Edward Island Sharks (3)
4-Lumberjack City Yaks (2)
5-Willow Creek Phantoms (4)
6-Paradise Cheeseburgers(6)
7-Aspermont Roughnecks (7)
8-Medicine Hat Witch Doctors (8)

If the number on the RIGHT is a better rank than the number on the LEFT, then you did better than you should have according to the schedule. If the number on the Laft is a better rank than the number on the RIGHT, you did worse than you could have. If the numbers are the same, you did just about right.

Last list shows both Conferences together in a strength of schedule list. Once again, it starts with the easiest schedule...

1- Oh Canada Ehs (WEST)
2- Firth River Freeze (WEST)
3- Vancouver Valients (EAST)
4- Thunder Bay Bloodhounds (WEST)
5- Canadian Bacon (EAST)
6- New Jersey Hood (WEST)
7- Moose Jaw Blazers (WEST)
8- Prince Edward Island Sharks (EAST)
9- AU Tigers (WEST)
10- Lumberjack City Yaks (EAST)
11- Willow Creek Phantoms (EAST)
12- Paradise Cheeseburgers (EAST)
13- Ft. Richardson Rangers (WEST)
14- Aspermont Roughnecks (EAST)
15- Medicine Hat Witch Doctors (EAST)
16- Yellowknife Bandits (WEST)

*WHEW* Done!

A few more things to factor in is the fact that the teams in the EAST were only able to play a MAXIMUM of 2 teams with an 0-8 record. But above all, congrats to the Yellowknife Bandits. They had the TOUGHEST schedule in the whole league and still got 2nd place in their conference.

Nice post. I figured we had the easiest schedule. Hopefully our game against the Hood shows some people we can hold our own.

I can surely see why the Bacon get doubted now. I didn't realize our schedule was that weak. Not only that but we didn't do a lot of blow out victories either.

Next season will really mean more to these conversations though. Going by that list 3/4 of the West's team left are on the bottom half of that list (Tigers the odd one out). In the East 3/4 of those teams are on the top half of the list (my Bacon being the odd out).

I think it just kind of goes to prove everyone's point that this league is far closer than any levels or statistics show.
