Ok, here is how this will work. Each team will internally vote for one of their players to be their team MVP. Then they will post them in this thread.

After all the teams have posted their Team MVP, the Owners and GMs will discuss the stats and performances (maybe even look back at game tapes for big plays) and then select the Conference and Ultimately League MVP.

Please keep your personal feelings about teams or players out of this thread, it is not for fighting or waving around your e-peen.

Great idea, and it reminded me to have my team vote on an MVP, which I meant to do anyway.

Put this on my forums and the Laval Lumberjacks have spoken. The MVP of our team is LAVAL LUMBERJACKS . Sure we could of picked our CB that was tied for the league in INT and 3rd for PD. Or we could of picked our G who lead the league in pancakes. Or tried to pick a running back between the two that scored 25 TD.

But we said nope. These players need other players to make them look good. Laval Lumberjacks are this good because of the team, not one player. Heck, we even had a nomination for a backup player.

We realize that this will eliminate us from any consideration for a true "MVP" but I have seen in the NFL where the player of the game goes to the entire coaching staff before (Cleveland vs Cincinnati back in the 80s). Good luck to rest of the teams trying to point out that one special person that was better than everyone else.

Yea man, very noble. Im pretty sure every team has the same thoughts amongst themselves but it never hrut to 'throw someone into the fire' lol Its not that serious. I wouldnt nominate either of the guys you mention but you have had some star-worthy performances.

Its just for fun though, you should try loosening up a bit

Muskie, no thats what she wanted, she told me to start with the O-Line and finish with the Quarterback.

When someone starts the season lvl 7 playing against mostly lvl 11+ linemen, and still excels, the hell it dont matter....

If there are lvl 12 that have played better I just think they would get the nod, a guy in your position should be looking for rookie of the year

Puvirnituq's is SS Les Drew. 34 tackles, 16 PD, 1 INT, 3 FFum and this awesome replay from our first game where he goes out of his way to blow up the WR and still makes the tackle of the RB: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=8360645

well yea I agree, thats not what the purpose of my statement was...

just accentuating the fact, not saying it makes it better
