Yes another post started by a stupid packer fan. Come on I know thats what your thinking. Anyways this is where we are going to name the teams with the best corps.

Team with best O-line=The Viqueens
Team with best Kickers/Punters=Viqueens
Team with best passing game=Twin Peaks
Team with best rushing game=Viqueens

So what have we learned about this league? Absolutely nothing we didnt already know but I know one thing for sure I hate the Viqueens.

Why do you hate us so much? I mean sure, I can understand the Marauders,Sundowners or most of the East teams but not the Assassins!

All fun aside . . . .

Team with best O-line= Vikings/ Marauders

Team with best Defensive Line= Vikings

The reason is simple there is pretty much no way we are going to defeat you once we get to the SB.

You mean IF we meet in the SB.We are a good team as are the Assassins but we have some very tough competition.We have to play revenge against the Sundowners before we start talking SB.It would be a fun matchup though.

The Vikings are BEATABLE. I said it before and I say it again....... the Vikings are beatable. Don't lose your game before you even get on field. Don't get me wrong; they are a great team but again, there's a way to beat them. They're not perfect. We beat them before. There's no doubt in my mind we can beat them again.

You guys can have that rest, but I'll take our running game against anybody's.

This stuff is hard to gauge though, in a half season league.

Vikings: 271.8 yards/game
Maulers: 211.1 yards/game

Vikings: 8 fumbles (2 lost)

Maulers: 18 TDs

Vikings: 449 pancakes
Maulers: 57 pancakes

The only stat where you beat us in rushing is in average, where we've got 5 yards/rush and you have 5.5 yards/rush. So please explain to me how you'll take your running game against anybody's?

We didn't have the benefit of two cupcake games like you guys did at the start of the season? That's what I'm saying, it's not really accurate to measure East against West, especially in a short season. The only accurate measurement we have is if we had common opponents....which we did...the Marauders...so lets see how our rushing games did against the same defense:

Vikings: 146.5 Rushing Yards
Maulers: 222 Rushinng Yards

Vikings: 3.6 yrds per rush (41 Rushes)
Maulers: 4.9 yrds per rush (45 Rushes)

Vikings: 2 fumbles (2 lost)
Maulers: 0 fumbles

Vikings: 15 Pancakes
Maulers: 6 Pancakes (Which is more of a pass block thing anyway. I'm not trying to argue our O-line is better than yours)

Vikings: 2 Rushing TD
Maulers: 1 Rushing TD

Pretty clear, on an even field who the superior running game was. I mean, that's not ironclad proof either, small sample size, but it's a lot closer to accuracy than just grabbing total stats.

Actually I'd argue that a larger sample size with the potential for low criterion validity is a better measure than a case study.

So you're going to go off ONE game? Hmm....I'm sure the Patriots were the better than the Giants, 100% sure they were, but who won that game? I am pretty sure it was the Giants. The Vikings have a better running game. Sorry man, but you can't go based off of one game's stats. They were consistently the better running team week in and week out.

Who really cares? I will take the worst running game anyday as long as we are successful.In this case both teams are just that and have a strong shot at making the championship.Can not really ask for more than that.

Maulers have impressed me a lot recently and I will be folloWing their games with a lot of interest.

The Patriots and the Giants aren't the result of code written by some programmer in Oregon (I don't think?!?!?!)

Like I said, my method is by no means scientific, but with the exception of that one game we played entirely different schedules. It's a more direct comparison that we can do. The cumulative method doesn't work because, you guys played in against retired nun league the first two games.

Look at these numbers, after 2 games:

Rushing Yards: 898
Rushing TDs: 14 (!!!)
Yards per Rush: I don't feel like busting out the calculator but it was 5.4 and 8.8

This is more than enough to account for skewed cumulative stats.

We, in the meantime, were busy playing 7 playoff teams. The one team we played that didn't make the playoffs (who we beat 41-13) turned around and violated one of your cupcake opponents to the tune of 44-3.

So yeah, one game stats aren't flawless, but they're still a better representation that involves stats accumulated against garbage like that.

Indeed, I can't even sleep right now.I will be crunching numbers and watching replays all night after the games.Here is to a great playoff eh?
