Well, I consider the season as a whole to be a pretty solid success, as far as predictions go. Not a perfect or anything, but it wad still pretty solid.
But now that the regular season is over, it comes on into crunch time. Playoffs is the gut-check football time. Time for "Win or go home". And if you are curious as to who will be winning? And who will be going home? Let me enlighten you.
8 St. Louis Storm at 1 Transylvania Bloodsuckers
No way do the 'Suckers lose this game. Not a chance. If any online sportsbook would let me bet on this game, I would put my house and car on it.
5 Belfast Mafia at 4 Dublin Drunken Monkeys
It doesn't get much more intense than this one. This is going to be one hell of a game. Belfast is coming off a huge win over Zeta's top dawg, just showing us their threat level one more time before playoffs. Scary, huh? But the D-Monk's are no slouch. They are the favorite, mind you. It's damn hard to pick against a team like Belfast... but I have to this time. Those 4 losses are there for a reason. It just so happens one of them was to the D-Monk's. This time around, history will have a way of repeating itself.
7 Basin City Blues at 2 South Yorkshire Stars
As a Stars player I can tell you with complete certainty, never has a 7v2 matchup been as concerning as this one. BCB has the talent to pull off an upset. There's no doubt about it. But SoYo has the talent to keep it from happening, too. In the end, I think the SoYo squad will continue to play a step above, but if anyone is thinking this one's going to be a blowout... you better think again. This one could be a damn good game.

6 Amsterdam Arctic Blast at 3 Warsaw Knuckleheads
What another great matchup this is. One team that came out of nowhere to be one of the more-threatening offenses in the league. The other is a team everyone had their eyes on from the beginning. The two met not all too long ago, resulting in a hell of a faceoff. Warsaw looks to advance by correcting their mistakes from the first game while AAB looks to improve on what worked to move on to round 2. Who wins? Well, as you can see... I am--with no ill-intent or disrespect to Warsaw--going to have to pick the AAB on this one.
