The owner of Omaha Mavs Otmalize.

HCDDTCN:Welcom Otmalize and congrats to you and your team on an outstanding season.

Many thanks, it is always a pleasant surprise to end up on the better side of 16 games.

HCDDTCN: You had an outstanding season only losing to the very top tier teams, what are your thoughts about your teams chances in this playoff run?

Well we *should* only go a rung or two into the playoffs if we are lucky, at least according to how things went during the regular...however, the couple of post-season's we've seen already seem to indicate that any number of wild and wacky things can happen, including ourselves (or any other "not favored to go all the way team")...well, go all the way.

HCDDTCN: Which team gave you the toughest time?

Actually none so much as ourselves. Large Arm has just had the worse luck this season...he's been solid for us in the past and I expect it will all come around eventually, but we've had to rely more on our backup QB doing critical starts this season. We started the season losing our previous offensive star, DC Rambo and a couple of our O-Line starters...I didn't expect to win the first couple games and we didn't - however Game 1 & 3 were within a score, and once we got the chance to get our current offense together and running things picked up. The only really disappointing game was NC State, I expected to win that game...we outplayed them but burned ourselves.

HCDDTCN: Everyone seems to be picking against your squad, but you have already beaten Dallas this season. How soes that sit with you?

*shrugs* I'm used to getting picked against...we've been running (at worse) the third best defense in the conference all season...one of the top passing games in our conference almost all season...we had to grow our backs for most of the season which is what the missing scoring component has been. That being said, the Horns are a fine outfit with a respectable record themselves...one of us has to loose and if it is them then more power to them...of course I'd prefer it to be us

HCDDTCN: Your team has flown mostly under the radar due to an 0-3 start. Your schedule was brutal, but your team turned it around and have been a consisitant winner week in and week out. How do you think this helps you in the playoffs?

In the playoffs? Not one bit. Like I said before the post-season's we've seen so far have been chaotic.

HCDDTCN: Can you beat the Dallas Horns a second time in the same year?

Absolutely...assuming that since our last meeting both teams have grown and built equally, the big difference for us would be the qualitative increase in our half back section; referencing our last meeting that is where we were weakest on the O-production. D-side the Horns gave us a defensive score from the conference pick leader...and he'll be out there again looking to steal from Mr. Clean.

Anything can (and often does) happen...so win or loose I won't be much surprised.

HCDDTCN: Your team faces off with the Hitmen in round one. That is a pretty tough draw. What are your thoughts on the matchup?

H-Town was new to our league this season and many of us wondered just how solid they would be in A#1. We knew they would be a tough team but I don't think anyone figured they'd be this tough and they have earned the respect of everyone in our league, ourselves included. This matchup worries us but to be honest, there really aren't any easy playoff games in this league. This should be a fine battle of two evenly matched football clubs.

HCDDTCN: The GM of Houston has stated that it was a mistake for you to aquire so much talent late in the season. Do you think you made the right choice?

I've talked to several people including a moderator who have stated that chemistry is important but not to the degree that many others have made it out to be. We replaced some non-boosting, lower tier guys with upper level boosters and I think have really made our squad more competitive with the upper level teams. We weren't just happy to be a #4 seed, we wanted to give ourselves every chance to win a title. Our offensive chemistry is now at 100, defensive chemistry at 84, and overall back to 77. Given that the mods told us that chemistry is only 9% of a sim, I feel like I made the right choice to fix the other 91%. Worst case scenario we've positioned ourselves for a very strong run in Season #4 with some additional players coming on board in the off-season.

HCDDTCN: You were widely considered a favorite to reach the championship game prior to a rough finish to the year. Do you think your team is ready to reassume that position heading into the playoffs?

I don't know who considered us a favorite for the Championship game. I think everyone always assumed it would be Houston and Sphere in the Western title game and rightfully so. But we like our side of the bracket and figure we have as good of a chance as any on our side to advance to the Western Conf. championship game where we'd have to get extremely lucky to beat Houston. But first thing's first.... we have two extremely tough games coming up to get there.

HCDDTCN: What was your proudest accomplishment this season?

We came into this season with the goal of making a home playoff game and earning a little more respect than we did in Season 2. Season 2 was brutal for us in that we just could NOT beat anyone ranked higher than us. I think this season we've earned some of that respect by beating some very good football teams. If it weren't for a slip up against a respectable RAL team we would have claimed the #2 seed. All in all I think we've represented ourselves pretty well this season. Advancing from a Season 2 #6 seed to a #3 seed and a regular season win against Sphere are our two best accomplishments for Season 3.

HCDDTCN: Is your team happy about the way this season has unfolded for the Texas Roughnecks? What will be a satisfying ending?

Except for a couple of hiccups against teams we would have liked to have wins against, RAL and Dallas, we are pretty happy with this season. We've learned a lot this season and made some advances, made our team much stronger, and also made some mistakes and had some slip ups. Making it to the Western title game and just having another shot at our rival Houston would be very satisfying.

HCDDTCN: How do you see the playoffs unfolding for your team? The league as a whole?

I've learned to expect the unexpected in the playoffs and you really never know how things are going to play out. Sphere, "MB", and H-Town are 3 very solid football teams but I like our matchups on our side of the bracket. There will be no easy wins that's for sure but I like our chances to advance to the Western Championship. Houston would be the hands down favorite but that's why you play the games. . . . . we'd just have to game plan better than we have in the past and lay it all out on the line.

But I see the Season 3 Champion of A#1 being the Houston Orangebloods. It will be a shame and I guess we'll have to develop a new rival for Season 4.

Hydroshock owner of the Hitmen

HCDDTCN: Congrats on your playoff appearance in your first try in USA#1. How would you assess your first season in the conference?

Well it was about what we expected. I'm pretty disappointed that we weren't able to hold onto the 4 seed and host a playoff game, but realistically we knew it was going to be a tough battle to make up the more than 2 to 3 level difference in talent. Overall I'm pleased with our performance but we have a long way to go to accomplish our goal of winning a title in this league.

HCDDTCN: You have drawn one of the favorites for the conference title in the Roughnecks. Do you think your team matches up well with them?

I think so but we'll see tonight. They throttled us pretty good in our first meeting but we kept it close and turnovers are what did us in, as they have been all season. Still, we had an opportunity to tie it up on a 4th and goal late in the game and we failed to punch it in. So yeah, I feel like our teams match up pretty well if we're not shooting ourselves in the foot.

HCDDTCN: What are your thoughts on your teams chances in the matchup?

Like I said, if we protect the football we'll be in it until the end.

HCDDTCN: How about the playoffs as a whole?

We can only approach it one game at a time so I'm strictly focused on the Rougnecks right now.

HCDDTCN: As a fresh member of the conference what are your overall impressions of the league and its teams?

One thing is for sure, the West is stacked with power house teams and if we make it to the next round it only gets tougher. Still, we've played each team close during the regular season and we feel like we've closed a huge gap in talent level considering we're only a second year team, so anything is possible.

HCDDTCN: You have suffered a couple of tough losses this season. Is there one that you would especialy like to avenge?

They've all been tough losses really. That 4th and goal in the Roughnecks game really stung, then we followed it up with a 6 point loss to the Sphere who have been one of the favorites in the West all season. But if I had to pick one I'd probably say the Orangebloods game... I felt like we were building momentum and played much better in that one. To hang with the #1 team to the end like that was really encouraging but deflating at the same time. Any time you get a chance to take down the best you have to capitalize on the opportunity and we just came up short.

HCDDTCN: Will you get that chance?

Who knows? In season one, as a GM of the then American Invaders, we took a 7 seed all the way to the Eastern Europe Pro title game so we never say never. One thing is for sure, we've got to go through some great teams before we can even consider it and it all starts with the Roughnecks tonight at 8pm.

The Houston Chronicle Daily Democrat Times Gazzette News Has recently caught up with all conference WR Jimmy Turner just in time for the playoffs.

HCDDTCN: Hi Jimmy, Congrats on the recieving title and the playoff berth.
Jimmy: Thank you. The receiving title is great, but there are so many people that played a hand in it. I have to thank Chet and our O-line. I don't want to forget, my OC, Xausted. I am excited about finally getting into the playoffs. We have been working toward this since season 1 and now we are finally here. I do not want to go home early.

HCDDTCN: You are the best WR in the game, but you are facing the toughest defense around in the Houston Orangebloods. How do you like your chances?
JImmy: True. I think we have a great chance. Houston is a terrific team, but they do not have a Jimmy Turner on there team.

HCDDTCN: Houston really stuck it to you guys in the regular season, how did that impact your team?
Jimmy: We rebounded very well. We never lost confidence and we went out and won our next two games.

HCDDTCN: Do you have any predictions for the game?
Jimmy: It will be a lot closer than the first game. Of course, I am going to say Austin will win.

HCDDTCN: Jimmy, the interview is coming to a close, is there anything you would like to say to your fans in USA#1?
JImmy: You guys are great. I truly appreciate all of the support and I will continue to work hard out there.

PT206 Owner of the undefeated Houston Orangebloods
HCDDTCN: PT. What can you attribute to this highly successful regular season?

Luck and team first players. We've won several games that could have gone either way. You have to have some luck in this league with all the quality teams.

Players deserve the most credit for the teams success. The team is full of agents that build their players to match the teams schemes. Any owner or gm would be lucky to have these guys on their team.

I also have the best gm in GLB. Seriously, without you this team just doesn't work. We've spent so much time talking about this game I feel like we're related.

HCDDTCN: How did you keep your team from getting overconfident and prepared to win week in and week out.

You don't. The guys expect to win every game and it's our job to put in a game plan that will achieve that goal. You aren't going to win every game, but as long as the team is competitive you have to be happy.

HCDDTCN: What were your goals for your team heading into this campaign? Playoffs?

I really felt like we could win the league last season. We were bounced by an outstanding Seminole team in the ugliest playoff game I've ever seen. I started this season with the same optimism and heading into the playoffs we are one of several teams that have a legit shot.

HCDDTCN: Your team seems very balanced, whats the key to building such a cohesive team?

It's all about the agents. If they don't buy into the team concept you won't win. Builds are everything in this game and just one poorly built player can have a huge impact in games. I really appreciate the guys boosting when asked and letting us have a hand in building their players. I really can't brag on these guys enough.

HCDDTCN: How is your team approaching the playoffs as the team with the clear target on your back?

Bring it. How can anyone that loves football not love playoff time. I enjoy watching other teams games and you can't get any better than this. We tweaked builds and game plans all season and now it's time to see what the "dots" can do.

HCDDTCN: A certain team was predicting certain victory this year in the playoffs, any such claims by you?

It's not my style. I've never understood the shit talking over video games. I'm competitive in the real world, but I do this for fun.

HCDDTCN: What will it take for the Houston Orangebloods to call this season a successful season.

I think it's already a success. I'm having a great time and that's what I signed up for. I would like to win the league for the guys on the team though.

Priceless interview of Jimmy T. Those WRs and their wacky egos.

Jimmy will always gets his yardage, but as DC, I've got the nightmare of a job to keep the Orangebloods offense out of the endzone.

We've gone ahead & watched the Pats/Rams superbowl, the Miracle on Ice, and the Appalachian State/Michigan game.

Well, if it was a coach/GM interview, that's one thing... but in the real world no NFL player is going to say "We're not going to win today"

Oh I know... lol, it is all said in good fun. He is a standout WR, but as a DB on the Houston squad, I feel like a return salvo of words to him is all fair.. hehe. I look forward to the matchup and anticipate a good game.

Sticky Wang DE

HCDDTCN: Mr. Wang how are you doing this the morning of your matchup with the Omaha Mavs?

1) I'm on Zoloft to keep me from killing y'all.

HCDDTCN: Congrats on your incredible season so far. That was the most dominant performance by any player in league history.

2) I'm the best ever. I'm the most brutal and vicious, the most ruthless defensive end there has ever been. No one can stop me. I'm the best ever. I'm Lawrence Taylor. I'm Reggie White. There's never been anyone like me. I'm from their cloth. There is no one who can match me. My style is impetuous, my defense is impregnable, and I'm just ferocious. Grosse, I'm coming for you man. I want your heart. I want to eat his children. Praise be to Allah!

HCDDTCN: There has been speculation that you are on the juice. Do you deny this? And if so, what can you contribute your rampant success to?

3) Juice? Juice?! Huh? Mutherfuker, you fixin' to die!

HCDDTCN: Moving forward to football, you guys are being touted as the favorite this week against the Mavs. Is there any chance you guys are looking past them and getting ready for the impending matchup against Undefeated Houston?

4) I just want to conquer people and their souls. I want to rip out Grosse's heart and feed it to him. I want to kill people. I want to rip their stomachs out and eat their children. And don't think that I'm leaving out large arm. He's sweet. I'm going to make sure he kisses me good with those big lips. I'm gonna make him my girlfriend. As for the Dean Cochran, my main objective is to be professional, but to kill him.

HCDDTCN: Anything special you wish to point out about your team and their plans this playoff season?

5) I could have knocked Cannon out in the first quarter but I wanted to do it slowly, so he would remember that night for a long time. By the end, he was screaming like my wife.

Houston's Deon Possibly Benched for Home Playoff Opener

Houston (AP) -- The Houston Independent Life Sun Globe Herald Phoenix is reporting that the Houston Orangebloods cornerback Evil Deon may be not be in the starting lineup for Monday night's game against the Austin Longhorns. Houston Orangebloods officials had no comment on the report, but the Associated Press noted on Sunday that Evil Deon's Bentley did not arrive until several hours after practice had begun at the team's practice fields.

The Houston Orangebloods have a notably strict team policy regarding arrival times of players for practices. Evil Deon has been late to prior practices this season and the team has responded by not starting the cornerback, instead bringing him off the bench.

Deon's contributions to the team are well noted in Houston and the rest of the league. He has played his entire 3 year career with the Houston Orangebloods and is considered to be a fan favorite. He is a vocal leader in the secondary, and has led his team in interceptions for the 2nd straight season. He was voted a unanimous defensive captain again this season.

However, this season he has taken part-ownership in a popular Houston nightclub. The nightclub, called "Prime Time", has been very popular with athletes and movie stars. However, while it hasn't affected Deon's gameday performances, many have wondered if his activities in the nightclub have prevented him from being on time to practice.

The Houston Orangebloods play the Austin Longhorns 8pm CST, and the game is nationally televised on ESPN700.

Deon was out setting up the strippers and the kegs for after our 1st playoff game is all. Its a ritual where after playoff wins, we all get hammered ass drunk, and well, use your imagination on why the strippers are there.. lmao..
