We just beat a very good Seattle team thanks to one big play. It could have gone either way. Looking at the Grand Cru record I nominate them as the hard luck team of the season. Yes, they won a couple of real close ones, but they also lost games by scores of 12-10 to first place Waller, 13-6 against a solid Keg Tossers team, 19-14 against Orlando, 16-7 against Florida and the just completed loss to the Shriners 16-9.

Whats impressive with Seattle is that they only gave up 20+ points in only 2 games all season. If they get an offence behind them, look out. Don't take this the wrong way Seattle, but I hope you don't make the playoffs because your the type of team that could pull off some upsets.

Wow.
Thank you for the compliment.
We had to institute a new O line at the beginning of the season that was on average 4-9 levels lower (loss of existing line).
Since then our QB has been running his ass off because we just haven't been able to stop the other side's D.
Our D is interesting, each of our LBs is modeled after a different famous Bear. I'm biased being a DC, but I think we have one of the best D's in the league.
Next season we will be on a closer level to the other Offenses. Hopefully.

Wow...

Looks like it will be a battle of the D's between Vermont and Seattle...with no injuries to worry about...we can game plan the heck for Seattle..that will be a good barometer for Vermont going in.

Figures we get a very tough draw for the last game...Im very relieved it wont affect our standings...

Looks like quite a few Western teams will be taking some seats up at GMM Stadium though.....

Thanks man, that's really cool of you. We really did have a good bit of odd luck this season. A few extra lucky breaks for us could have made our record a little better, but a few more bad breaks could have also been a lot worse. The ball bounced our way a lot more during season 2 so maybe this was just leveling everything back out for us.

I'm sure glad you think so. I've started doing a bit of scouting on your offense and am pretty leery of the task at hand. Even just slowing it down a bit seems like it could be a monumental task and I'm pretty sure we might have better luck planning for the Dallas Cowboys. I'm just hoping that it's not a blow out. Lester doesn't need to be stuck on the field for 85 plays while all the cheerleaders are on the sideline for 120.
