i agree with everything except for how high st. john's is

Not sure about your formula, but the two teams (other than Barkmere) that we beat are ranked 7 and 16 places higher than us?

portsmouth should be higher, also,

I'm still trying to find a formula that works well, so bear will me while I try to get it right.

how about a poll that takes the two loss team thats in third and puts them behind us, the icemen!! actually let them stay where they are and just match us up in the playoffs so we can rock there faces off!!

You could try using level. You would need to add starters and second string. But if a second string guy covers 2 positions he only counts once. Their total in levels is their power rating. This is what other leagues do.

Games won-lost don't show that well becuase a gutted team could be massive rebuild etc
