With the conference season over I decided to spend about an hour and put together a conference All-Star team. I'll be honest, I did not spend much time on positions such as FB and TE where it's difficult to pull up stats. Would love someone in the Western Conference to do the same and see how they match up. I mostly looked at stats for this. Don't rip me to pieces if you don't like it, say what you would have changed. Enjoy!

QB - Stefan Grant, Puvirnituq Musketeers
HB - Marion the Barbarian, Lancaster Hustlas
FB - Gfr Hönigl, Notre Dame Fighting Irish
WR - dorito chip, Sudbury Mountain Lions
WR - Kevin "White Lightning" Curtis, Notre Dame Fighting Irish
TE - #80 Zach Miller, Puvirnituq Musketeers
OT - The Bouncer, Quebec Quasars
OT - George Kunz, Notre Dame Fighting Irish
OG - Jimmy Huntington, Lancaster Hustlas
OG - Barnacle Bob, S.W.O. Swamp Donkeys
C - Smash Brother, Nova Scotia Snakes

DE - Ray Edwards, Lancaster Hustlas
DE - OptMegUs haz3L, Notre Dame Fighting Irish
DT - Da Truck, Quebec Quasars
DT - Warren Sapped, Notre Dame Fighting Irish
LB - Alex White, Lancaster Hustlas
LB - Jeremy Wdowiak, Hamilton Lightning
LB - roudy ramrod, S.W.O. Swamp Donkeys
CB - Han Ram, Sudbury Mountain Lions
CB - To Good, Quebec Quasars
S - Carlo Palazzolo, Lincoln Lucky
S - Les Drew, Puvirnituq Musketeers (Couldn't find a stand-out FS, so another SS)

K - Reginald Hoe, Lancaster Hustlas
P - Bill Shakespeare, Notre Dame Fighting Irish
KR - Smoke Brooks, Yellowknife Rented Mules
PR - George Gipp, Notre Dame Fighting Irish

By team:

-Notre Dame Fighting Irish - 7
-Lancaster Hustlas - 5
-Puvirnituq Musketeers - 3
-Quebec Quasars - 3
-Sudbury Mountain Lions - 2
-S.W.O. Swamp Donkeys - 2
-Nova Scotia Snakes - 1
-Lincoln Lucky - 1
-Hamilton Lightning - 1
-Yellowknife Rented Mules - 1

Very interesting. We had a 1-6 Donkeys team that has more all-stars than the 6-1 Lightning. Again this was individual performance based, and I guess a team like Hamilton is so successful due to an all-around effort rather than a few standouts.

I would say we should have all owners/GMs vote for their All Star team from their conference, but then True Blue would just pick all Inferno.

Just like Puvirnituq giving up 33 points all season yet only having 1 out of position player on the defensive all-star team. Guess you have to give stromstar credit as the DC.

Yep, Good job stromstarhammer

Yall's defense is very very tough.

The reason Puvirnituq has only 1 player on defense is because we have the fewest defensive plays per game. We cause so many 3 and outs that our defense never gets an opportunity to prove themselves. I can only take credit for putting together the players. They're the reason we have the best defense in A2E, if they hadn't signed on we'd be nothing. It's a team effort, each person plays their role perfectly, no one individual deserves credit over another. Kind of like how Xavier was the best A-10 team, but was left out of this year's awards.

Here are some things to consider:
I think you have the HB wrong. Lancaster's schedule was too easy, Marion's stats are only so high because of padded games. The best HB in the East is easily Dan Fishbein (okay I said it HA!).

Also DE Pancake Shmancake for Notre Dame should be in over Ray Edwards if anything for the first stat (MTK):
P.S. - 23 tackles (0 missed), 10 hurries, 0 sacks, 3 PD, 1 INT, 1 TD
R.E. - 21 tackles (4 missed), 22 hurries, 2 sacks, 2 PD, 0 INT, 0 TD

For LB, Alex White's low SOS should drop him down. Mica Logjam should be in.
M.L. - 33 tackles, 2 hurries, 2 PD, 3 FF, 1 FR
A.W. - 41 tackles, 2 hurries, 2 PD, 4 FF, 0 FR

I dunno why CB To Good is up there when Reynaldo Hill from the same team has an even better statline. You should talk to the Quasars to see who should be up there.

Thats what it looks like to me. I doubt there would be any Lancaster players on stroms' All-Star team.

By the way, Alex White has 6 more tackles for loss than Logjam.
