Carthaginian Horde vs. Oum-Chalouba Zebras
I'll keep saying this because I believe it will happen. The Zebras should make the playoffs and this should just be a simple step towards their playoff berth. If they lose this one... it'll be a very disappointing loss and one I would not expect. Next weeks matchup with the Zebras and Billievers will be crucial in determining who will make the playoffs and who wont between the Zebras, Billievers and Mambas.
Zebras win 13-23

Madagascar Mobsters vs. Niger Mambas
The Mambas should be able to win this one and they need it to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Mobsters had a nice start but have loss 9 in a row to becoming one of the worst teams in the conference. I don't think they are that bad though, good luck next year Mobsters.
Final score in favor of the Mambas 6-24.

Malawi Pride vs. Mombasa Spears
The Pride may just go 0-16 after all. Their next three games are against some of the best teams in the league. The only shot I think they have at winning is against the Mambas and I feel like they'll lose that one too. Like the Mobsters good luck next year Pride, it doesn't seem like that team deserves to go without a single win so I'll predict their win next time. This time I'm going with the Spears.
Spears win big 0-38.

Kalahari Vikings vs. Calumet Wolverines
I like the way the Wolverines are ending the season. I think they'll make a few offseason moves later that will make them true competitors next season. I thought they'd have a little bit of a better record than what it states right now but if they win the rest of the way then that is a good sign for the future. I'll take the Wolverines in this matchup.
Vikings lose 20-24.

South African Ridgebacks vs. Valla Beach Woolsheds
Game of the week here and with all the trash talking exchanging between the two teams recently I think this will be a heated matchup with emotions flying everywhere during the game. I think the Woolsheds are outmatched, though not by much, in this matchup and will side with the Ridgebacks in this game. Good luck Woolsheds.
Final score Ridgebacks 19, Woolsheds 10.

Nairobi Warthogs vs. Zambia Lions
This should easily make the Lions power rankings go up. I still thought that Rhinos game was a shocker...
Blowout in favor of the Lions 7-44.

Windhoek White Rhinos vs. Zimbabwe Headhunters
Game of the week runner up and with the Rhinos beating the Lions I think I'll favor in them again this week. Man I sure hope we don't have to face the Rhinos first in the playoffs because I think they are one of the top 4 teams now.
Rhinos win 27-17

Cape Town Billievers vs. Buckeye Nation
This will probably be a close game although not too close like by 3 or 4 points. I think it'll be a touchdown difference for a while until the end when the Buckeye Nation scores a few more FGs to seal the game. No blowout here, just some friendly competition... or so I say.
Final score Billievers 9, Nation 20

It's out a bit early this week because I am busy once again. Well... I'm not busy as in I have something to do outside of the house and I can't get on the internet here on GLB. It's just that I'll be having my fantasy football draft in less than an hour so I'll be busy on that. Once that is done I'll head on back to GLB to keep in check with the scores around the league. Good luck teams, can't wait till the playoffs

Great predictions once again....good luck in your draft...may i ask why you hold the draft so early in the year ? I have to take a vacation week at the end of august for all my drafts..LOL..good luck to all the teams this week, the playoff picture will be much clearer in a few hours.

I have one early and then another late, right before the season starts

And so far my draft... went okay... I don't know why I waited till the 8th round to draft a QB. I kind of regret it... hopefully Eli Manning or Philip Rivers does wonders. I'll draft a QB early next time, otherwise I'm stacked at RB and WR. Joseph Addai, Jamal Lewis, Reggie Bush, Deuce McAllister, Steve Smith, Roy Williams, Santonio Holmes, Roddy White and Derrick Mason. Yeah... lol

you will be fine with those QB's....after the top few they are all the same. looks like a good team. I am in a dynasty league and almost pulled the trigger on a trade for wes welker - the other guys wants ryan grant and greg olsen ? ? ?I already have steven jackson, marion barber, michael turner, and brandon jacobs....so i could spare grant.

For that trade I'd totally do it depending if I needed help at the WR position. Your depth at RB is great so losing Grant shouldn't be a huge problem. Does your league start 2 RBs? If they start 3 then I guess it'd be better to keep him but Brandon Jacobs and Micheal Turner are good for backups. Barber and Jackson are top 10 RBs IMO so they'll be your starting lineup.

And yeah you're right, after the top QBs there isn't much of a difference.

Back to GLB, wouldn't it be awesome to have a REAL Pro Bowl type of thing? Maybe I should have posted this in the actual Pro Bowl thread...

LOL, but a pro-bowl team would be awesome... i was reading in some other forums how other leagues are doing it....I think the main issue is voting for your own players. I think we can trust most guys to be fair and not stuff the ballot box ?

back to fantasy....we start 2 RB and 3 WR...my top 2 WR are andre johnson and fitz...you can probally tell why the 3 foot high trophy from last year is sitting in my living room. LOL I am weak at QB though... i am counting on Aaron Rodgers

Haha, man, I should be the one asking you guys to throw the game, seeing as you don't really have anything to play for at the moment.

Anyway, good luck tonight. I think it'll be a close game.

Thanks for the predictions, solid as always.

EDIT: Whoa, scratch that, it seems like you're still fighting against relegation.

Still, if we don't win this game we're pretty much out of the play-offs race.

AJonCloud9 if me and Billy White get a GLB fantasy draft together, would you want to be in it? We could limit it to managers and GMs in Africa...

And NO WHITE... I wouldn't trade Grant alone for Welker! TRUST ME... you can get a better deal then that! For Grant, you should be able to get a better WR... Personally, I'd run with Jackson and Barber, sub in Marion for bye weeks and bad matchups/injury and trade Brandon Jacobs... he good when he's on the field, but gets hurt and he has 2 VERY GOOD backs behind him in Ward and Bradshaw (or whatever his name is...).

Greg Olsen will be better this year.. not many TD's... but Sexy Rexy has to throw to someone...
I'd package Jacobs or Turner & Olsen in a trade for a WR. A RB will be hurt bye week 4 or 5 and someone will be up shit creek and ready to give anything for a back!

@Billy White
I say you should just keep Grant... knowing that RBs tend to get injured the more the merrier. I thought your WR core wasn't as good as A. Johnson and Fitzgerald or else Welker would have been good for your team. Who's your third WR?

@StiffarmSteve
Sure, I wouldn't mind being in a fantasy football league with you guys It'll be my third league I'd be in this season... last year I was only in one.
