Warrior General Games

He isn't a bad guy at all, he is actually pretty cool. We talked for almost an hour and a half today. Reason they have gone into hiding is they don't want to cause anymore drama, but Voltron forgot the message so he said forget about him since he really isn't part of the team anyway. You guys should give them more of a chance. Also the reason the Elves posted so much stuff when they first came was a misunderstanding, they said to make the A7 forums more active and some guys took it the wrong way and started posting a bunch of crap that was useless, which led to our battles and the hatred for them. Fair said he would make an apology at the end of the season but I just wanted to say now we should lay off of them, the Elves are real cool guys, except Voltron of course, we can still make fun of him.

In real life, they are probably just as normal (or abnormal) as any of us, but they have made the choice to stir up shit online with their alter egos and they have been dealing with the consequences.

Despite how they may act in real life, their online personas are NOT "real cool guys", otherwise the entirety of the league would not despise them like we do.

Meh. I'm sorta willing to cut them some slack, seeing as they have been basically absent from the boards recently.

I'm ready to move on. I miss the old forum anyways. Where are those damn writers!!!

I have tried to stay out of the discussions about the Elves on here or get involved in pissing matches, but I will say that I PM'd FairForever before our game with them and he seemed classy and un-cocky in his response to me.

FWIW, all of the "drama" that is occuring on the A7 boards (pretty much from west in particular) is destroying what was once a very fun and classy league forum that I would always use as a selling point when recruiting. The once proud west would often poke fun at the east for their lack of forum production and here we are silenced with the exception of a few tongue toting teenagers(other than the completely biased rankings which was great and what this league was all about last season).

I really wish I had a creative side to me so I could provide some myself. I have however posted on my team's forum that I would like my team to step up and lead the way to bring back the proud and entertaining writing in the A7W. I would encourage others to do the same to recruit some more writers. Hopefully if all of the owners and GM's try to recruit some of their own players to write, we may actually hit on a few very good ones. Perhaps there are players that don't even know this forum exhists.
