Montreal Maniacs (5-0-0) vs. Cambridge Thunder Cats (4-1-0)
We've allowed only two field goals on the season. Cambridge was an early season favorite, but thanks to a week three stumble vs. Alert, they need a minor miracle to pull out the regular season (a win here, the winner of the Alert/Yukon game to then lose a game and better point differential).
We also have two common foes, Albany Mohicans and Niagra Parrots. The Maniacs beat the Mohicans 58-0 in Week 1 and the Parrots 45-6 in Week 2. The Thunder Cats beat the Mohicans 31-10 in Week 4 and the Parrots 20-3 in Week 5.
If we take this, it's looking like we have the Eastern regular season title sewn up, unless the winner of the Alert/Yukon game also racks up some serious point differential over the last three games.
This should be a good test, looking forward to it!
