Okay.. we have 3 games left, so I guess we can set up a vote after game 16. Here's my list in no specific order:

Frankfurt Crusaders: QB Stone Gossard
3,998.5 Passing yards, 31 TD/6 INT, 97.4 QB rating, 64.6 Comp %

Belfast Commandos: QB Tone Romo
3530 Passing yards, 24 TD/13 INT, 87.2 QB rating, 63% Comp %

Rome Gladiators: QB ForZa AzZurRi
3,284.5 Passing Yards, 22 TD/11 INT, 85 QB rating, 63.3 Comp %

Frankfurt Crusaders: HB Mike McCready
1393 Yards, 4.5 YPC, 27 TD/1 Fumble lost

Bow Street Runners: HB Marco Wanderlei
1,617.5 Yards, 5.6 YPC, 21 TD/3 Fumbles lost

Berlin Storm Troopers: HB Amp Electro
1,286 Yards, 4.6 YPC, 17 TD/2 Fumbles lost

Frankfurt Crusaders: WR Aaron Hosack
130 Receptions, 1455 Yards, 12 TD/6 Drops

Spaniard Warriors: WR Kiki TWoods
84 Receptions, 1,152 Yards, 16 TD/8 Drops

Here's my MVP order. (Strictly my opinion)
1.Stone Gossard: Leads the league in almost every passing category.
2.Mike McCready: League leading 27 TD, 2nd most rushing yards.
3.Marco Wanderlei: Holds the leagues rushing title at the moment.
4.Kiki TWoods: 16 TD is still stout for a WR, but he moves down a bit.
5.Aaron Hosack: Amazing amount of receptions and yards.
6.Amp Electro: Last years mvp holding on by a hair with some solid rushing stats.
7.Tone Romo: Also barely holding on, needs a few great games to get back to the top.
8.ForZa AzZurRi:On the outside looking in.

(This was not biased, just basing it on the best stats)

Good stuff. Having tried to get the league to engage with something similar last season, I couldn't overcome everyone wanting to vote for themselves or their team despite my best efforts so I'd suggest a similar approach here.

Also raw stats include running up the score against the cupcake teams.

I only put 8 players, his stats don't jump out like the two receivers that I included here. Solid stats, but not top 8 worthy.

Also, we can take the top 3 players and let the league vote for them. That will keep people from writing in stupid votes.

Quite.

And exactly on that vein, can I ask why you're rating McCready above Wanderlei? McCready has less rushing yards in more carries (hence the significant difference in YPC) and he's higher level than Wanderlei and playing on a much stronger team.

I would like to submit D Money for consideration. He is leading Zeta in rushing yards right now, and we haven't even played P-Ville yet. In addition, he has put up these numbers despite a O-line that is only 8th in the conference in total pancakes. Not to mention that his can pull off some extremely sick moves; go look at the Play of the Week thread.

27 Touchdowns. And Frankfurt's offense passes more than bow street's

But Frankfurt's offense also rushes more than Bow Street.

McCready has 308 rushes to Wanderlei's 289. But Wanderlei's still got over 200 rushing yards more. Hence his average of 5.6 YPC to McCready's 4.5.

The fact that McCready has more TDs is obvious - Frankfurt have more TDs than Bow Street because they win more and score more than Bow Street. The whole team is better so it's easier for McCready to score more and he should find the rushing easier. And McCready's a higher level, so by all rights he should be doing better. But he isn't.

Nobody can compete, TD-wise with the best team. But the real test of an HB is whether they get the yards. And on that basis, Wanderlei is doing better both in absolute terms (more yards, more YPC) and in relative terms (he's lower level and in a less good team, and has less rushes).

Not trying to say that your guy isn't doing great - he clearly is. But I'm still not seeing why you think he's the best HB this season. Curious what others think though.

Also bear in mind that 16 of McCready's 27 TDs were against Larryville and Clydesdale.

This is why people should not be able to vote for themselves.

I don't care who it was against.. I value 7 more touchdowns more than 200 yards.

The simplest way to make it Legit is to not count any votes people make for themselves or their team.

Or Owners could nominate one player from their team and everyone could vote on those 16 players.

A shame I wasted my time reading this thread then. Have fun adding up who did what against Clydesdale and Larryville and making decisions based on that.
