Warrior General Games

I want to start this post off with a caveat about the content: It is only my opinion of how I think the playoff race might turn out. I mean no slight to your team if I predict them to lose... I've done my best to remove all emotion from my prediction. Take this prediction with a grain of salt, as the West has already shown that the web of defeats and tie breakers is tangled. **THIS IS FOR THE WEST ONLY. SORRY, EAST TEAMS, BUT I DON'T KNOW YOUR SQUADS WELL ENOUGH**

Ok, here's how I see the playoff situation working itself out. There are currently 9 teams in the hunt for a playoff spot in the West. I'm going to break down what I think will happen, and what we'll end up looking at when playoffs roll around.

I think the Squirrels are good for a win in at least 2 of the remaining 3 games. The LUEshis game is looking like a big matchup.

Pewntenheimer Pwnts are going to close out, I think. Even if they lose against the Grizzlies in week 16, they'll still finish out in first place.

The Bayou Bengals should manage to win the remainder of their games. I'm going to guess that they have figured out the Warriors, and finish 14-2

The Bolts finish off pretty easy, except for one game versus the Wildcats, which I think they lose. 12-4

The Wildcats have the Scorpions, Bolts, and Sharks left to play, and I think they take 2/3... losing to the Sharks in the final game of the season. 12-4

The Hurricane Warriors only have one tough game remaining... versus the Bengals. If the Bengals have figured them out, it's a win, and the warriors finish 11-5

The Raiders walk into a wall at the end of their schedule, playing the Pewnts and the Bengals. I think they lose 2/3 remaining games, and end up 10-6.

The Hangovers and their crazy freak RB have an easy schedule, except for the LUEshi game, which I think they lose. They end out 11-5

Lastly, the LUEshis have two wins on the schedule... the Hangovers and the Royal Bengals. Unfortunately, they face the Squirrels in what might ultimately decide the fate of the bottom 3 playoff hunt teams.

My prediction for week 16:
1. Pewnts 16-0
2. Bengals 14-4
3. Wildcats 12-4
4. Bolts 12-4
5. Warriors 11-5
6. Hangovers 11-5
*Lueshis 10-6/11-5
*Squirrels 10-6/11-5
*Raiders 10-6

If the Squirrels beat the Lueshis, then the Raiders get the tiebreaker and advance over the Lueshis. If the Lueshis beat the Squirrels, then the Squirrels get the tiebreaker and advance over the Raiders. (Of course, that is assuming that my predictions stand up to that point, which of course they won't because this is the West, where upsets are a regular occurrence.

Oh, and I want to thank the Wildcats for the defensive battle today. That game was the type of game only a coach could love.

I really hope we beat you Squirrels as that will stick us in the number five spot, giving us our rematch against the Bolts who have basically become our rival team. It's going to be a damn good game though, that's for sure.

I would like to make a guarantee right now. The Sharks are going to make the playoffs.

Good thread. Good predictions. I could see things finishing very similar to what you have suggested there.

Actually, I hope it finishes out just like you say there for us...I'd love for the Wildcats to finish 3rd.

We're very concerned about the Sharks and the Bolts as our last two games. Either of those two teams can beat anyone in the league on any given gameday.

We want desperately to get that one Home game in the playoffs, those are super valuable in terms of team finances.

I'm not totally convinced we can lose one game and still retain at least the number 4 spot in our conference...so we're really dreading those last two games.

good thread. We too are looking forward to our game against the Wildcats. It should be a great match up. If the Warriors lose to the Bengals the Bolts v Wildcats game is for 3rd place.

This race is getting interesting. We will try to spoil a couple of team's playoff hopes

i just hope that the Pewnts dont knock us out of the playoff race...
