Regular season doesn't mean squat. You have to see how the playoffs work out.

Agreed. We never did the Pro Bowl Idea, so we might as well wait now until the whole shebang is wrapped up. Too many good players to limit it to only 4 awards.

Since we were all so 'young' this season it's really easy for a lot of players to stand out. Looking forward to next season. Should separate out the player builds and team tactics that much more!

And I don't have to play linebackers at DE, like I did all season.

My vote after the playoffs is, Tony Soprano.

His 400 yards and 4 TD's in the playoffs with a regular season of 2,500 yards and 27 TD's.
Private Pyle lost the MVP with 6 fumbles in the playoffs, losing three of them.

I would consider also

Kenny Chesney (409 total yards 102.3 y/g 5 TD's)

Regular Season MVPs:

Offense: Private Pyle 2803 yards rushing 37 TDs
Defense: Silvio Dante 74 Tackles, 8 Sacks, 2 Forced Fumbles and the center point for a team that game up less than 100 yards rushing. All season long.
Kicker: Paige Turner
Punter: Brian "Later That Day" Mormon or Lloyd Melvin both had 31.3 yards a punt for the year. Joe Botchsky had a higher average, but only played 9 games.

Playoff MVP:

Randall "Pink" Floyd

A rushing team all season long, the Stallions finally faced teams capable of slowing down their running game in the playoffs, where Floyd was solid, throwing for nearly 800 yards and 9 TDs. More importantly, he finally produced more yardage and scoring than his formidable running backs. Teams gameplaned to stop the run against the Stallions, and still ended up losing because Floyd beat them.

I almost gave it to Chesney but it kinda bothered me that he was basically just abusing CBs routinely 3+ levels lower than him as the slot reciever. Floyd had to face the best defenses in Zeta and the undefeated champs in Alpha and was dared to beat them and he did.

I thought the same thing about Kenny, but you had to choose your poison there. You could have put your best CB in the three hole to try and stop him, but then his mates would have run wild as well.

You make a good point about Floyd though. Where he lost it for me was the 56% completion percentage. You take away Kenny's 5, he had 4 TD's, not enough. Tony stepped up his game and played it the way he needed in both the regular season and the playoffs.

Best Defensive player, I have to go with Scrogz Frombehind - 163 tackles (1st), 2 INT's, 6 FFumb (2nd). Followed a close second by Indiana Jones and Silvia Dante.

Best Kicker - Freddy the Foot
Best Punter - Lloyd Melvin

Cali is just still having Nightmares about Scrogz tackling all his players, his coaching staff, his cheerleaders and half his fans =)

You have no idea how much I wanted that game back late in the season. The Helsinki game and the Munich game gave me fits because I felt we could have won had I gone in with better plans of attack. I'm coming for you next season. I'll have Scrogz running in circles trying to figure out who to tackle in next year's Cardinal offense.

We "were" actually good when we played ya. But then, some GM's gutted our team and I was left trying to pick up the mess.

Didn't say you weren't good, just that I wanted another crack at you.

I have bad news for you...

Skrogz is probably gonna be a back up next year so you won't have that much of a chance to make him look bad =p
