Even from an ultra speed perspective, 167 spd 3AE vs 170 spd 4AE is a reasonable argument. Mostly comes down to goals for the rest of the build.

https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4883090 = Darth Vitiate 3AE Pro DMVP contender (167 spd, 1489 PV)

https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4851994 = Darth Plagues 4AE Pro top WR (170 spd, 1507 PV)

The player values don't mean a ton once you get to crazy high attributes, but aside from 1 build being heavier into SA and one heavier into +% AE, they aren't really all that different.

Bottom line, either are fine. Personally I think making "good" 3AE dots is easier than making "good" 4AE dots. since multi-training gives you points and you are less worried about the skills of when to start/stop multi and with shopping optimization.

75 EL value for +3 atty (25 EL value per attribute point)
24 EL from +6 in SA (worth 5+5+4+4+3+3 if you know how to plan a build)
=Total 99 EL player value for AE

I think it's easy to argue the +/- atty point value a little in either direction, and +% AE as 2nd piece stack is almost certainly worth more than +6 in a SA. But +100 PV for 4AE builds is a pretty reasonable assumption.

For someone looking to either take SA's past 11, or stack a bunch of +% AE, those are reasons to go 4AE instead of 3AE along with wanting a high attribute 1.

given that EL for 2 AW dots is around 90-100 higher overall EL is probably a wash

the bigger help is all the %AE you can use on defense - every player could roll with 5 % pieces including the CE

3 AEQ .... Allows a better co-ordination between build and EQ as you have extra time of multi training but wisey is right 4AEQ offers sonething more.

For the most part, 4AE is the way to go IMO. %, secondary AA's, latter AE, etc. If done right, it gives the extra pizzazz that kicks a dot up a notch at end build. The result is a 1-2 percent difference that comes out at times over the course of a season, and consequently a career.

One caveat is you better know when to stop multi and calculate properly; Thus ensuring you finish well, so you achieve the end cap attys and all coming to fruition.

I keep going 4AEQ on the Offensive and Defensive line and I just feel like they're one step behind other Pro teams. They don't lack the strength. Its either I don't take tackle or block as high as I'm supposed to. Im trying to figure it out. I think 3AEQ may be the way to go in the trenches.

I'll add a little to bottom line of yours and Robb

My dots with 3 AEQ...fringe top 10 in their positions.

My dots with 4 AEQ...fighting for DMVP/OMVP...top 5, at least.

Except maybe for Oline, I'll always go 4AEQ.

Personally go 3 AEQ for O line, Kicker and Punter...everything else 4 AEQ.

(Sometimes KR and bCB 3 AEQ).
