We only get 30kb. That's approximately nothing. There's really no point in doing anything remotely awesome. JPEG is about the only option.
If I have to do one from my phone for whatever reason, I just find something small enough to download. Even basic screen shots are way more than 30kb.

I use it to resize, crop, animate, does it all really and then it can compress (usually) to the size limitations for here. I think it's the best image tool for any GLB user
