my dots are QB Julian Edelman (has 50 throwing, but then huge amounts of agility, idea is a scrambly/check down/short pass guy)

and HB Deion Faulk (scatback build). they are both 1st in the depth chart but hardly getting plays. Help?

CPU teams offer inconsistent amount of plays

or just pump stamina in the meantime

This unfortunately

Setting tactics to play relaxed might help.

But yeah... If you need plays now, you have to sacrifice your end end build or find a new team

Both are averaging 20 plays a game at least.

Good advice here. Lots of teams need players, but usually not a lot of teams looking for QB's and HB's. Try looking at the existing rookie teams with human owners and see if they will sign you.

thanks guys, yeah i'm mostly doing 1 season builds to experiment with different build types for a bit. now i' guess i'll experiment with 'what kind of starting stamina do i need to get the majority of the plays for my position'

would strength impact that too, or purley stamina?

From everything I have seen this is the best way to start a new dot from level one. Worry about stamina in season two or later. Season one is too early.

I guess if you're just doing 1 season builds only, get into PeeWee if it's still a thing. I've never played it, but some people like it.

Solid advice. Pee wee does still exist. Just on a smaller scale
