#1 the players will get the option to release themselves if they go too many days without pay
#2 there's a league adjustment for the other teams so they receive more money
#3 if it's malicious, then yes, in theory, your team can be taken away, but that would require complaints and actual response from Support
#4 if it's a construction issue, the construction will get cancelled automatically to pay salary. I know because it sucks when you come up a couple thousand dollars short on a multimillion dollar upgrade due to one bad home game.
#5 the tiny benefit of doing it on purpose isn't worth doing. If it's an accident, because of a new owner or whatever, I wouldn't sweat it
