VC was a good guy. I remember him from the old days of GLB and am glad he came back in full force after the dotpocalypse. I'm sure his impact here is a tiny piece of all the people he's positively affected in life.

-Post-Dotpocalpse he made his own team and is one of the few who have "won the game" with a WL championship.

-He tried to recruit my blitz CB for 3 seasons and I was honored to bring him to his team once available.

-When I came back to OC'ing after my break, he sent me messages, checking in on whether I got an OC job then told me "good to see a good OC back in the game"

-Between GLB chats and discord we talked about height effect on hurdle, qb vision, progressions. All sorts of stuff, he was always happy to bounce ideas and talk dotball.

End of the day, how we choose to use our time and how we experience things with others defines our enjoyment of life. I am thankful to have dotballed with him. Rest in peace my friend.

RIP. That's awful, I always enjoyed playing his team. He was fun in the forums.

Horrible news, RIP VC.

I just spoke with his wife and apparently he passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on May 1st. We had talked numerous times on the phone and were Alumni buddies.
Bill was always very talkative and had a zest for life. He passing is certainly a loss!

This is indeed terrible to hear. Not only did he run a really successful team of his own, but he was always willing to help out teams he was competing against. He will be missed.
