This has been suggested a few times, but perhaps by having it in the actual 'Suggestions' forum, someone at Warrior General might see it.
Basically, this boils down to contacting former/past agents to invite them to check out Goal Line Blitz again. There's a good story to tell here: the accelerated player development will have a lot of people interested in seeing what it's all about. I know from my own experience, it only took me popping my head back in, back in August, to see if this thing was still going, for me to become completely addicted (again).
So let's try it?

There are often a number of factors that go into whether we implement a suggestion or not and ultimately it comes down to the following:
1) Will it improve the user experience with the game
Yes. Having more agents adds life to the forums, and playing against real, non-CPU teams is much more entertaining. This one's a no-brainer.

2) Is there a business reason for implementing the suggestion
More agents means more people buying flex. Do you like making money?

3) Does the cost of devoting the coding time to implementing the suggestion make sense
There is no coding necessary. If you have an email database, you can simply craft an e-blast to send. Hell, you don't even need to lick stamps.

4) Do the developers feel the suggestion works with their vision of the game
I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest the developers didn't envision a slowly-dying game, but rather, a vibrant community of dotball aficionados. Yes, there is undoubtedly a die-hard community here, but it's getting smaller every year, and without new blood (or returning players), the long-term prognosis isn't great.
It would be so easy to do. As someone once said, 'It's easier to try, than to prove it can't be done.'
