Allow a player who hits lvl 79 and needs a few BTs or TPs to BUY them.

Better for players & more money for Bort.

The amount of BTs or TPs to be determined by Bort for all players, not individual players.

EVERYONE benefits.

Couldn't disagree more.

The business model and purchasing hook for users is the excitement of seeing your dot at end build. If you were a few BTs or TPs short, or missed out 3 or 4 points on a primary attribute it makes you want to build another now knowing how to hit your target correctly.

The game essentially boils down to a very prolonged RPG character builder min/maxing along the way. Adding "Fix my build" buttons at plateau is not a good change IMO.

Your premise is flawed.

No one is going to throw out a Dot that takes 6 months to build because they came up 10 BTs short on the last EQ upgrade, or left an attribute hanging at 96%.

Even if the net result is a +1 to an attribute, that's not going to "fix a build"

It's a sanity saver at most.

Even 10 TPs for 100 non refundable flex isn't going to make or break a build.

As long as it is a small fixed amount of BT then its manageable. But otherwise it gets out of control fast. Next thing you know you got people intense training everything because you can just "buy" your 4 AEQ at the end.

I never said anyone is going to throw out that dot, but the user is motivated to make another. Its a well established engagement hook its called the perfection loop.

Bort isn't going to put a feature in the game that lowers the chance of a user building a new dot and spending flex points.

No no, not the devil, but part of the trick to building successful dots is deciding how much training and how much gear your dot is going to have. Are they going to have crazy high stats and no advanced gear? Or are they going to have less stats and more utility because of extra AEQ? Its a natural balance to the game.

If you can buy unlimited BT at the end, it takes the strategy out of building dots. You can now have the best of both worlds, crazy high stats and as much custom gear as he can wear.

Bad idea. Even if capped, it'd just become a necessary standard part of the build like how the "make up boosts" are just a part of standard building now.

Dots cost more and people have to do annoying buying BTS at the end. Yuck.

I agree with Wiseman, unless the cost is extremely high like 1,000 flex for 10 TPs or something. Most people would skip it if it's expensive. Could make it cost Vet XP or something, take away some other part of the build. Lose 1 VA to get your 1 point of an attribute, or 1 equipment upgrade that you fell short on.

An optional 1 time purchase of 10 TPs for non refundable 100 flex, wouldn't light the world on fire, contrary to all of the above propaganda. It's not going to rewrite the book on how to create dots.

Just add it onto the CEQ page as the L79 upgrade. The infrastructure is already there.

It's a mid plateau morale boost, an temporary attribute gain or 2, finishing an AEQ or maybe getting out of an obsolete bonus SA if you switch teams.

What would actually be amazing is when you got the extra SPs from hitting the boost cap, you got BTs also. TPs and VPs too. Why not.

That might actually make agents rethink the building process. Keep the game fresh.
