no i have multiple offensive plays in different packages and somehow a random play not in any package shows up somehow randomly.

Make sure there are no "Invalid" plays in your packages

Either you have a play that's Invalid like RC said, or you have a hole in your AI.

Every time in my GLB career I think I've found AI ghost glitches, it's been my fault.

there's always a cause. Either invalid output, or an input conflict of some kind. The error could be a few lines up in the code, creating an input with no output. A down, or distance, or time or score...

I’m no pro, but everytime you see one of those plays that make you wanna tear your eyes out, immediately test the AI for that scenario.
