Going through the play creator on offense. It would be nice to have a post corner route.

Double Slant doesn't really get the dots in the area I want. The slant in out plays flatten the route too much as well.

I agree, we need more downfield routes we can throw Interceptions on.

I'd love to see an adjustment to the sim in that regard, but...

I mean even a relatively *small* change to the downfield passing game sim would more properly balance the run-vs-pass equation would be big deal in making the game more properly embrace the current game of football.

Might as well ban the Goal Line formation from being used outside of the 10 yard line too then, eh?

I agree with PJ here in that this game is too far from real football, mostly in regards to out of position issues. Those penalties are not nearly as severe enough. There are too many gimmicks, so you have to use them or lose to them.

I'm really curious--what out of position thingies work at the higher levels? Many, many seasons ago I built highly regarded rTEs, but anytime a team tried to slip my dots into the WR position, I don't ever recall it working? And by not working, I mean I don't even recall a 3-catch game against similarly leveled competition? I remember having *mild* success from putting a power rushing FB at RB, but again--no long runs, no smash-defenders for 10 yards and a score?

Or from any distance more than 5 yards needed for a 1st down (regardless of down).

But I've never been a DC, is there really not a way to swap in the right defense when an offense lineup presents no real threat to throwing the football?

I see a lot of teams struggle with the QB rollouts from GL formation when I check their quick scouts. It can be stopped, I was just saying it's not something you see in "real football" having an offense roll out that formation at midfield on 1st & 10, 2nd & 6, and again on 3rd & 2
