I had bought a Prep team, since there were no rookie ones available at rollover. That does have a hard enforced 2-41 age on Day 1, so we couldn't sign there.
Told everyone to start signing D League contracts, and just figured I'd request to stay at Prep next season with that team. Since a few of the agents hadn't spent their training points and built last minute like Day -1 or Day 0, they were sitting on enough training points, they would've lost trains by the rollover of Day 1. We all got nothing but Prep D-League offers.
So I ended up selling the Prep team, buying one of the rookie ones that got opened AFTER rollover, on Day 1 ... meaning no chance to improve the stadium, sign up for the tourney, etc. etc. Not the end of the world, but it definitely sucked in terms of cash / stadium, gonna put us behind for awhile.
But getting off topic - it definitely puts rookie dots in a weird spot if they don't sign before Day 1 hits, could be fixed pretty easy making Rookie D League offers go to dots something like age 0-2 ... instead of 0-0. I can't imagine that would hurt anything, does anyone really care if there's a D39 or 40 dot in rookie D-Leagues?
Suppose I can test if that's still happening by making a rookie dot tonight, and waiting until tomorrow so they're age 1 to test it out.
