So... things have really jumped the track lately in my world. Friday night/Saturday morning (recently past) I got up to go pee and never made it. Fortunately mom was up and sitting at her computer when I hit the floor. Spent 3 days in the hospital as they stabilized me. Blood sugar had crashed down hard.
Without going into a buttload of medical detail, it's a family thing. Mom's got the same trouble. Grandma had the same trouble. It's a thyroid thing where it really plays havoc with your insulin production... either going way overboard or nearly shutting down (which happened to me). It's like diabetes... but it's not diabetes.
Anyways... I will be in and out of the hospital for weeks now as they do damage control for what's been done already and figure out what meds I need to keep my thyroid stable. I have already missed several days with teams I work for/with and will try to catch up however I can with them. If ANYONE can step in and be an OC, or offer OC assistance, for these two teams;

Am I leaving the game? For now at least. All this testing and treating is just wiping me out. 95% of what I do now is sleep and eat in between tests and treatments. God willing, I'll survive this and be ok on the other side. If not it's been nice to know all of you buggers... some more than others.
I'll make sure my account is taken care of so nobody needs to worry about any dots on their teams. I wouldn't leave you in the lurch.
