Is there a max number of training points in the new system?

Just so anybody reading this thread knows, I created a player on day 41 and didn't use any training points so I had 56. The new season just started, and instead of getting 36 training points I didn't get any. I'm assuming this is the new system.

I believe the 36 tp's are incorporated in with the 56 tp's you get when you created the dot, going forward you should get the 36 tp's at roll over until the dot goes into plateau.
