my free players aren't able to boost beyond level 6. I don't get that some can obviously and some can't. My upcoming opponent has level 11 dots on day 2. How ?

If you boost before day 0, I think it lets you boost after day 0 again.

(I believe it's the "make up" boosts that are usually used AFTER dots are all the way built)

Ahhh.....the boosts count towards the prior season if done before day zero
