TPs shut off at rollover on Day 40 remember, however... With the current set up, you'll get the last batch of TPs at rollover to the preseason of the first plateau season.
They definitely are supposed to stop at rollover to age 161, if everything works as intended.

Out of 6 dots I have..
2 dots I trained too long cuz I am an afk horrible dotbuilder, so I have to go with a bunch of 2% pieces like a noob.
1 dot thats perfect equipment (you're welcome HHWC)
