I'm not sure if these are bugs OR if I'm posting in the wrong section but noticed today that there were at least two plays where defensive alignment did not match offensive alignment.

3WR set with 3 CB's but it was Trips and our 2nd CB was guarding no one

Is this a bug? Or is this something else that we can correct with defensive formations?

I see you're in a casual league, I'm not a casual-ologist, but the defense Ai you chose dictates what dots get used where and how

Whatever defense you chose, wanted the CB2 in zone defense on the strong side instead of man coverage.

The same with the other play. That Ai said to use 5 CBs in that situation.

That's why casual is casual. All you can do is pick an Ai and let the magic happen. Or don't pick an Ai at all and just let chaos happen.

If you want more control, you have to play in a regular league.

In Casual all you can do is just keep playing with different Ai until you find one that mostly does what you want.

If you're going to stay in Casual, you're going to want to keep track of which Ai work well against what teams and which are terrible. It's basically as much work as being in a regular league until you get everything figured out. Then you'll just look at the schedule and your list and be like "ok playing team A, so use offense #3, and defense #5" and with basically 2 clicks you have a decent game plan.

Okay good to know. I will look into that next season. Maybe stay off the Zome against heavy pass teams.
