Hmm..
I see the two pronged attack touched on a bit, but I feel like that’s an understatement based on how much talent a team can put together. Agerm you’re clearly a stud, so that trail off frightens me lol.
I think tackling is an interesting point. 80/50/50/50 & 70/40/40/40 still racks up more missed tackles than some of these open builds with minimal tackling. I honestly think our linemen are the best tacklers & they’re tackle lite. Probably a mix of things that goes into it?
Also, hella teams are giving up running yards - I’m assuming we’re all still looking for the sauce to dilute HB juice?
Personally, I’ve been a fan of throwing the estate at the offense. Of course runners get off some big plays, but conservative defense doesn’t fit our play style well. I get they’re animated, but they’re still filling the role of football players. I’m sure there’s minor things we're missing that could help from a coaching perspective, so I think it’s fun to play around.
The two prong attack used to get me since it’s either you focus on the pass or run - assuming the team is decent at both & has options. You spend a lot of time meticulously planning, and when it works it feels awesome. When they get you it hurts, and when they can switch it up…
