Ok... so I know some dots can be used as STOPs and therefore get AEQ rolls that seem off but, if you just think for a minute, you can stretch reality so that when you see a WR get a Make Tackle piece... it can actually make sense... sort of.

But what in the freakin hell of all things is the incessant damn desire for PHB's to have 'Avoid Fake' gear??? I could understand if it was occasional but in the last 3 shopping attempts... at 4 pieces generated each time... total of 12 pieces to look through... 8 (YES... EIGH-freakin-T) of those pieces were 'Avoid Fake'.

So someone help me out here and explain why a PHB needs... or would need... or might need... or could use (somehow) Avoid Fake gear? My sanity needs your help.

As pHB's are more strength based and not as much agility as a true speed/ agility runner the purpose of that gear is to stop the pHB when he thinks about trying to fake someone out instead of just running over them.

I'm sure it's just my imagination but it sure seems shopping for equipment is much worse than before.

Been noticing the same.

I used to always see a lot of blank / 5% items around L31-32, and I'd grab those and pay 50 BT to add the appropriate +3 primary.
Wondering if the random shop was AGE based for the gear created, not level based? Obviously the extra items generate on every 10th level from 31/41/51/etc., but the quality of the items *maybe* is aged based?

I've given up on rolling for now, and I'm going to wait for level 41. Always found 31 to be the sweet spot for +3 / blank, or blank / +5% since once there's more "points in the pool" so to speak, you get a lot more +1 wrong stat / +5% items for example ruining them, but I saw almost nothing but trash 2% and 3% items with a dinky +1 stuck on them. Or maybe my RNG was just cursed.

Mixed bag for me so far. I have a couple of dots that have gotten 3 pieces (I always build the 4th) and several that have 2 pieces. A few only have 1 and 4 have none. Of those 4, 2 are notorious for getting crappy rolls... my Speed WR and my PHB. Why those dots I cannot say but they get WAY MORE defensive gear rolled than offensive gear. WTF? The other two... both O-linemen, one got his 1st piece today.

It just seems that certain dot types... and certain archetypes... get far too many crap rolls. RQB's, PHB's, LB's, and WR's. Why those 4, I cannot tell you. I just know it's always been that way. I usually end up struggling to get them 4 good pieces and many times either have to build 2 pieces or surrender and only get 3. That sucks.

So, y'know how when you're playing Texas Hold 'Em and you check your two hole cards and one is the Ace of Diamonds... and the other is the 3 of spades?

Is the 3 of spades useful or helpful to you? Nope. Absolutely not.

You know what the dealer will do if you show the 3 of spades to the dealer and ask him for a card that's more useful?

He'll tell you to either call, raise, or fold, coz that's your card.

Congrats. You wanted another ace or at least another diamond. Instead, you got an Avoid Fake piece for a pHB. It's gambling. This is the very definition of "working as intended."

So instead of asking silly suggestions, tell Bort to fix this.

The 3 AEQ - Day 135, 4 AEQ - Day 93 is calculated by just building your AEQ, correct?

max cost to build AEQ = 1,700 BT's. (125 BT's initial purchase cost + 300 to finish each piece.)

You get 12 BT's every other day if you are multi-training.
You get 12 BT's every day if you are light training.

160 days of dot building + 36(?) TP's awarded in lump sum after each season except for creation where you get an extra 20 TP's. (You also start with 12 BT's in your pocket.) That's a max amount of 2,784 BT's to work with (if you light train ONLY).

Working in reverse, if you are BUILDING AEQ then it's like this

4 AEQ = 1,700
3 AEQ = 1,275

(off season TP's) 36 x 6 = 216 BT's
(Light Training during season) 1 day = 12 BT's
40 days = 480 BT's
1 full season = 696 BT's

3 AEQ = 1 full season of light training + 2 rounds of off season TP's used in light training + 31 days of light training (total 71 days of light training during the regular season).

160 - 71 = starting on light training on day 89 (88 if you wanna be safe).

4 AEQ = 2 full seasons of light training + 3 rounds of off season TP's used in light training + 8 days of light training (total 88 days of light training during the regular season).

160 - 88 = starting on light training on day 72 (71 if you wanna be safe).

I have not had time to double check my math on all this but it's what I have down currently and it's what I'm using now.
