Leopard league, 1 Team, empty roster
Lion league, 5 teams, 2 semi legit rosters, no complete teams
Tiger league, technically full. A few 1 and done teams, a couple of legit contenders, and a few empty rosters.

Best case scenario next year, 1 league which probably won't be full.

This would be a good season to test out Wise's double sort method on Day 0. See how many complaints pop up.

For clarity, double sort probably needs to be done on d44 for all non-rookie teams (since that's before schedules generate), which was my suggestion

I agree it'd be nice for rookie to have a d0 2nd sort, but the problem is Bort would need to do real work/coding stuff since he'd have to erase and regenerate schedules.

Obviously not grouping human teams (with 40+ human players) together is sad.

I think it needs to stay this way for a while yet. I mean, yes... it sucks. But, until we reach Plateau with current crop of dots/teams, I don't think we will have ANY valid idea of just how many teams there will be... at each level. Once we have an idea, I think Wise's suggestion has a LOT more traction and validity. Not against the idea... just against changing things every single season until, finally, we get some idea of what's really needed for quality balance. I'm not impatient... won't hurt to wait and see things flesh out.

I always try to shuffle the human teams together in rookie on the last day if need be. There was a league removed on the last day last season for instance.

My complain is for Prep that my team is in Washington league with level 21 players when most of the other teams are fully boosted at 26.

The solution is to remove the 5 catch-up boosts (for dots made in the future) so that skipping s0 boosts isn't the optimal plateau strategy. Itdoesn't seem like that's going to get done, so 5 or 10 level gaps are going to be there until plateau unfortunately...

You ask for something that is not going to happen. I ask for another sort at rollover of new season (put lvl21 teams in one league and full boosters to other leagues). Simple!

You chose the path of math nerdery. The funny part will be when everyone grows up and realizes that a theoretical 0.00001% math advantage isn't worth throwing away the first 3 seasons. On the bright side, your excuses for being not good will decrease every season. Being 25 SPs down won't mean very much once PVs get up into the 4 digit range.

You essentially invested in a traditional 401k instead of a Roth. You should have paid up front, to get more interest on the back end

If you are going to choose this boring, don't give a $#%%$# way of building your team then there is no point worrying if you have competitive games or not. Be like the shitty ass teams in my league as they simply don't care if we crush their spirits 111 to 0.

Ken, if all you care about is a 3% advantage potentially in your build to be a WL star, then should not matter what league you are in at this level. Take your lumps and prepare for the PROS in three seasons.

I like to compete up the ladder (although this time is not competitive in the league really until later) and I find the builds are strong enough to be good still later on. We will see.

Yes for sure. Miss it! That was a fun and magical ride up the ladder last time. This time saddled with the teams that don't give two shits and it's boring.

All I'm saying that I have ahead of me 120+ days of boring games and must find something to do in this game. Losing 7-65 is not one of them! I admit with PPC my time will be more interesting but will be better if Bort listen to my suggestion. Not a big deal if doesn't happen...

About all the other stuff that TJ mentioned about advantages and things that don't get (because is 4:45 in the morning here and need coffee), I have a new team full of lolearly boosters this season to check personally what works best. Thank you all for your replies.
