Week 1 Lion League

Logzilla AB Test @ The Prodigy ~ A Logzilla Test team versus a dredgar and Kvo collaboration. As good as Xars is he would need the answer key ahead of time to pass this test. Unfortunately for Xars, I think he grabbed the answer key to the wrong test.

OU Sooners @ Hamburg Sea Devils ~ GE may not be winning any championships but he is winning games. His persistence is finally paying off. I do not think the Sea Devil-dogs have the experience or the roster to beat the Sooners. I predict that GE will be grilling up some burgers today.

New York Pride @ 09 Skers ~ Viper and Ph33p, finally vipermaw has a partner with his panache for experimentation. Over the seasons both of these coaches have "discovered" some pretty crazy builds that are totally off meta and for that reason I look for these wild and crazy kids to run wild over Pride's all CPU roster.

Montana Snails @ Staying Inside ~ I fear the all CPU Snails are going to be off to a slow start. This will be a race that even a slow Slombo could / should win.

In the Zone @ Dallas Hippos ~ For my money, this should be the game of the week. A Ph33p/Abboden team versus an Agerm73, Ghanima, and Hayrow collaboration. Whose game plans will Da Zone use in this one? I have to pick my boys to win in what should be a great early rookie battle.

Maine Vikings @ Spokane Goons ~ This game looks to be a snoozer. An almost all CPU roster versus an already inactive owner. If the Vikings prepare properly the Goons should be ripe for plundering. BTW I love the name Maine Vikings. I live in Maine and love Vikings, not the football team but real Vikings.

With a score like this you would think the Sooners found pay dirt 3 times, but instead the story was the Sooners kicker, K. Garrett's 5 FGs and 1 Billy Simms TD. GE's defense helped by pitching a shutout. Next week the Sooners have a TOUGH matchup versus The Prodigy while the Sea Devils have an equally challenging matchup versus Logzilla

09 Skers 31 - New York Pride 17
Taylor Martinez's 4 bomb TDs were the difference in this one.

Week 2 action will see the SKers versus the Montana Snails and the Pride will take on Staying Inside in another tough matchup

Staying Inside 41 - Montana Snails 10
As predicted, Staying Inside was in control of this one the whole game. Inside's two S* HBs Devon Brower and Joel Botsford had a combined 5 TDs.
Next week Staying Inside get the New York Pride and the Snails will play the 09 Skers

In the Zone 35 - Dallas Hippos 31

The Prodigy 21 - Logzilla 3
This one was a defensive battle. The Prodigy's offense proved to be a little bit more than Logzilla's defense could handle while Logzilla's offense could not find an answer to the Prodigy's stifling defense.
Next week, the Prodigy will play the 09 Skers and Logzilla will matchup versus the Sea Devils

Spokane Goons 30 - Maine Vikings 17
This was the only one that I mis-called, and I would pick the Vikings to win every time. That is early rookie ball for ya! RNG was in the Goons favor in this one. The CPU Goon receivers were making diving catches all over the field while the Vikings struggled to move the chains.
In week two, the Goons will matchup versus In the Zone while the Vikings will play against the hungry, hungry Hippos.

Week 2 Lion League

The Swami was 5 for 6 in week one. (83%)

The Prodigy @ OU Sooners
GE was so proud to be #2 in the Power Rankings after his week one win. It will be a short stay as his Sooners match up versus Dredgar and Kvo's Prodigy. It is no secret that Edgar and Kvo derive great pleasure from beating GE's teams and the two of them have a pretty good track record of doing so. I expect the streak to continue this week.

Hamburg Sea Devils @ Logzilla
Last week, Logzilla gave the mighty Prodigy a good game and that was with no preparation. It is pretty damn difficult to beat experience and whelp Xars has experience in spades over ranno2K. I expect Logzilla to win this one and pick up their first W of the season.

09 Skers @ Montana Snails
Last week, the Skers won by drop bombs on the New York Pride. I expect to see more of the same this week versus a Snail's team that struggle last week versus Staying Inside. It looks like that basement party is going to have to wait a bit.

Staying Inside @ New York Pride
The Pride will have to wait another week to pick up their first W. I do not see it happening this week against the machine that is Staying Inside.

Dallas Hippos @ Maine Vikings
The poor Vikings are about to get trampled by some raging Hippos. Last week the Hippos lost a heart breaker to In the Zone and The Vikings lost the RNG battle to a CPU squad with an inactive owner.

Spokane Goons @ In the Zone
Last week the Goons surprised the Vikings. This week they get the Zone. All I have to say is the Goonies better be ready to get Bulldozed. (pun intended)

Another upset. I don't know who is more mad about this, Ellix or me (damn upsets messing up my predictions).
The Pride started off en fuego then Staying Inside made a valiant comeback attempt, but too little too late.

As predicted, the Hippos trampled the Vikings. Hang in there veedoe66. Lion league has some pretty experienced coaches. Learn from each game, scout you opponents. See what they are doing, and please ask for help.

In the Zone 16 Spokane Goons 10
In the Zone just barely won this one. The Goons were not Bull Dozed as I over confidently predicted. Instead, the mostly CPU Goons and their inactive owner continue to play well on both sides of the ball.

Week 3 Lion League Predictions

Hamburg Sea Devils @ The Prodigy
The Sea Devils are coming off of an incredible upset victory over Logzilla but this week they run into my pick to win it all, The Prodigy. I am impressed by the Sea Devils but I do not think that they have the roster or the experience to knock off The Prodigy.

Logzilla @ OU Sooners
Usually, the opportunity to give GE an L is motivation enough to game plan but after last week's upset loss to the Sea Devils I think that Xars is pretty serious about his lack of interest in GLB2 and for that reason I pick the Sooners to win this one.

Staying Inside vs 09 Skers
My pick for game of the week. The Skers are 2-0 and Staying Inside is coming off of an upset loss to the New York Pride. This should be a great game that could go either way. I am routing for the Skers BUT I think the amazing Ellix will game plan the hell out of this one in an attempt to pick up the game they lost last week.

New York Pride @ Montana Snails
This one is an easy pick. The Pride is playing well and the Snails are slowly sliding down a slippery slope.

Spokane Goons @ Dallas Hippos
The Goons have been playing unbelievably well but they did lose a close one to In the Zone last week while the Hippos exploded all over the Vikings last week. I predict 2 W's in a row for the Hippos and 2 L's in a row for the Goons.

In the Zone vs Maine Vikings
The Vikings have had a rough start to the season while In the Zone has found ways to win some tight games and sit at the head of the Gamma Division table. Based of the experience gap I predict the trend to continue for both teams.
