Interesting... almost half of the new dots didn't boost at all.

I can point to at least 6 different places where this was announced publicly, plus more places where it was discussed in the public forums, and any team worth its salt was probably discussing this in their team forums as well. If you somehow managed to miss all of that, I think that says less about the game and more about your own lack of awareness of your surrounding environment. You'd pretty much have to intentionally set out to miss this information in order to miss this information.

The game is not the problem here.

Nope. Literally just GLB's built-in search tool. I figured out each page of player results has 25 dots on it. I did a search for all Level 11 dots, counted the number of results pages, subtracted 1 (since the last page had less than 25 dots), multiplied that by 25, and then added the number of dots on the last page. Did it again for Level 10, then Level 9, etc. Took less than 10 minutes.

Mine are all either Level 10 or 11, and I have no intention of playing them one-and-done. And based on my VPB results, my boost-to-11-right-away dots came out better than my boost-to-6-and-stop dots at end-build and pretty close to RyanCane's don't-boost-at-all results, so boosting to 11 seemed like the obvious move to me. Obviously I'm in the minority in that opinion, but that's fine... I find that the majority is often wrong on many other things in life as well.

If my dots don't work out, I'll just blame slughead's obviously shoddy work on the VPB.

Btw based on Novus sweet stats, but that's 149 teams of dots. If we figure 30 teams worth of peewee/afk/dotburn as a conservative estimate that leaves us with 120 s100 teams, or 10 leagues worth of 12 teams.

Keep in mind there will be additional plat dots made in future seasons.
