Off Line stamina .....How high is too high ??

And in general what if any advantage is there in taking STAM to around 80 for Strength based dots

I think a couple of agents tried that with Speed WRs. Never even heard of anything like that for strength dots.

Maybe if someone wanted an o-line with no backups or something.
D-line would still have morale loss to deal with so huge stamina would be wasted anyway.

Maybe 1 blocking WR that wanted to be near max every play all game.

Can't imagine why any other dot would do that. Seems like there would be better things to spend SPs on

Agree but with caveat. It really depends on position and team structure. Some examples;

Kicker and Punter. Kicker actually needs the least as it's rare for it to have more plays than the punter... unless you're playing CPU teams... then, if you're winning 255-0... does it really matter? Punter generally has a few more plays than the kicker (in normal good ol' tough head to head matchups)... but still rarely has as many plays as most other dots. (My take? 25-35 for a kicker... 30-40 for a punter.)

Pure STOP only players. If you don't play on Offense and Defense then you only play 1 play at any time and get plenty of rest in between. However... nothing drains stamina like running the full length of the field so you need more than the average bear (I would think 50 is good here).

Position depth. I know some teams use 3 guards... some 4. Obviously, if you're on the 1st team you'll need more stamina than if you're on the 2nd. Maybe +10 more?

QB's. One or two? If you play on a team where there are 2 (real) throwers... or on a run heavy team with a RQB or one that uses HB's at QB for some QB runs... then you might not need 60+. Maybe 55 can cover it.

These are just things I've seen over the decades... but some might have a better take on it than me. Feel free to post here and contradict my take. I'm just as interested as anyone else on this.

When I read "Off Line stamina" the first time, my brain didn't translate that to offensive line.

I was trying to think of dots that played off the line of scrimmage first.

So yeah, offensive line, would strictly depend on backups. Personally I do a 1-cap early and let it grow to mid 50s and that seems good enough, on a 10 man line rotation.

I'd agree with RC, can't imagine going above 2-cap. The D-line doesn't attack Stamina with SAs or anything.

I didn't catch the meaning either (see my earlier post).

Fewer O line needed. Can easly go with 3 OT 3 G with 60.
