When I found GLB2 in S48 I knew this would be a sim I would love. The game was entertaining with the potential of becoming even greater. Over the seasons I’ve suggested ways to make the game more fun and more realistic for everyone.

One of those suggestions was having two kickers. After all, many pro football teams have two. But, I got push back saying that it would make special teams too influential in the game.

So, I quietly decided to do an experiment to see if this was the case. The Black Aces was the first attempt but, over their run to Vet, there was no noticeable advantage. My second attempt with the Waterboys was cut short today because of Ellix crying and crying... and crying to Bort.

Apparently, making the playoffs twice, only to lose in the first round, with the Aces and my current 5-4 record are very intimidating and scare people off from allowing others the opportunity to diversify their team builds.

Don’t worry, now you can continue to hone your one-dimensional, 36 player, 12+ S* teams in peace. There won’t be someone trying to bring realism and team build diversity in to the game any more. I’m out.

But, I won’t soon be forgotten.
(unless, of course, you cry to Bort about that too)

Seasons of playoff flubs awaits, but each win against star packed teams gets the GLB2 fingers going.

Sole focus is to beat them with the realest teams possible

This was actually something I tried when I was newer to the game like 5-6 years ago. I thought I was pretty smart. At the time I saw no one else doing it so I felt giga brained. Shortly after I remember it got patched tho, which is funny bc we were not exactly amazing. Did this feature get added back for a short time or something?

Imagine knowingly exploiting the game, one that has consequences that directly oppose your own stated objectives.

(Fitting a second kicker onto a roster allows more superstars rather than less since it's the cheapest player in the game. Allows your to save thousands of SP on your kicker because you don't need any kick off power, and allows you to not have to field a return defense because you have a kicker who can always boot it through the uprights.)

Then imagine that when it inevitably get fixed because it's obviously bad for the game, you decide to throw a fit, paint yourself as some kind of victim (that your own choice to exploit caused), and then quit.

I hate when people don't let me cheat.

Ignoring the teams you coach, you directly have 20 S* under contract right now. I don’t remember who had that 13-15 S* team that one time, but it’d be a fair guess if I said you.

Two kickers aren’t changing the game dude. Kickoffs are already shit, and kicking isn’t that great to begin with. You can have all FS’ and no SS & be fine, yet two kickers is where the line is drawn?


I don’t like the fact that there’s so many “holier than thou” agents who feel this way because they’re “winners”, even though the reason why they’re winning is because they’re exploiting the game while making sure other users cannot express themselves creatively.

It’s one thing to be a bitch about user suggestions, it’s another thing to be a bitch about how others build their team

Still have to figure out how to fill a whole team and around what scheme. What a whole bunch of nothing.

It was quite literally an exploit. You can feel however you want about 12 S* teams, but nothing is stopping you from doing the same. But go try to sign a second kicker to your team. Notice a difference?

Ace of Spaces was explicitly cheating. This isn't "expression", this is someone who cheated - it got fixed and then being mad at others.

Because you don't understand how 2 kickers can be bad for the game, doesn't mean the rest of us don't - I even outlined it in the post you quoted.

No, people are not afraid of your team. But 1 kicker requirement is 1 kicker. To find a loophole to sign 2 is an exploit. Man up like the rest of us and run 1 kicker. This change happened before you played the game (2 kickers to 1). Instead of exploiting it, find a reasonable way to create change. Kvo had a great suggestion, increase cost of kickers. That's a reasonable solution. Having a complete mental breakdown over kickers is just silly.

There are multiple winning teams out there that have less than 10 S* on the roster.
Agents are continuously express their creative players/rosters.

This ENTIRE issue is about Somebody Actively Choosing to do something the game is designed to not allow. No other Agent has this ability, so why should it be expected to be ok? Why should it not be resolved?
