Why don't you run a league or division set up by owners who also set up all their own players? That way they can play with each other. We (multi-Agent) teams have no chance. These teams play for a year or two then cancel their team.

I believe he is talking about the teams like New Orleans Golden Kangaroos who like to play in the lower leagues where they play for a few seasons then reset. There are a few teams like that but probably not enough to create a whole league just for themselves.
I remember back in the day there were some teams that were 3 and out teams, played on one at one time. They go for the gold early on then when the dots build becomes less affective you just retire.

They are just rinse and repeat teams that can only win at lower levels due to how the players are built. That has been going on forever in GLB. Unfortunately, there are many more of those teams this Season due to the fact that you can reset your players at then end of the Season and get 100% refund which encourages such nonsense.

It was a casual team at the time. Don't remember which one.

Hope nobody takes this personally but I would be highly against anything that took away someone else's way to enjoy the game. Personally, I wouldn't do those types of teams (recycle all the time) but it's wrong to deny someone else the pleasure of the game if that's their thing. If it was breaking rules or some such, sure. But it's just a different way to play.
For those who complain about people playing that way, know I was once as you were... always raging against those kids of teams. Older... wiser... and now if they give me a hard time, I just buckle down and try harder to beat them anyways (with some success). It'll make a better OC/DC out of you, for sure.

It doesn't bother me as much as it used too because I switched to Casual, but there are leagues for recylced rookie teams, it's called PeeWee. Of course they are not breaking rules, but they're taking advantage of how long term builds are built...which is why they will not play PeeWee, everyone's one and done and will boost for playoffs.

When I revived the Palm Bay Palookas back in Season 69, we got stuck in a Rookie League with two of those Rookie League Lurker teams. We refused to alter our long-term build strategies, but we ran into both of those teams in the playoffs -- and beat both of them on our way to Rookie Gold.

Much later, that same batch of dots won a silver trophy and a gold trophy in Natty Pro, thus proving you don't have to sacrifice long-term goals to beat Rookie League Lurkers. You just need efficiently-built dots, a great understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of your team AND their team, a rock-solid gameplan, and a little bit of luck. You know... all the stuff you need to succeed in GLB anyway.

Don't like Rookie League Lurkers? The best revenge is beating their asses so their efforts at a cheap-ass trophy go completely to waste.

Best thing about Rookie League Lurkers is they help to financially support GLB, all for the cost (usually) of a Rookie League GIF trophy. While it would be nice to have their competition "up the ladder", I'll happily settle for their $ to help keep the game alive.
