I'm getting bored with the game plan tactics. They are so minimal. I thought Bort and the guys were going to get us more advance tactics for offense and defense. We're in the end of the 3rd season and still nothing. I'm so use to "Front Office Football" game tactics, they are so deep, and it makes this look like romper room.

I really hope they fixed this, if not i might be putting my team up for sale. I hate to, but it's losing it's fun when you can't really game plan.

Those of you who play Front Office Football 2k7 know what i mean.

ie: of good game plan tactics.

1. Setting % to run outside of LT / outside of RT / between Lguard & Ltackle / etc.
2. Setting % on downs & yards. ie: 2nd & 5 30% run - 70% pass
3. Set % of which LB to blitz
4. Set who double covers on pass play
5. Set % of screen pass
6. Have diferent formations to use and use %

I can go on and on, but this is what i'm looking for. FOF2K7 has this and much more where you really can game plan.

Uh...you are aware that the tactic updates hit in season 4? And you can already work with the stats in those, they are just not live yet. If you want more than those that are coming season 4, you are out of luck.

I want better tactics too, but I am not a fan of the ones in the advanced AI. Its a shame you have few options to really tailor your plan to take advantage of mix matches or mask deficiencies.

Maybe one day we can play by play and pick the plays.

I won't be happy until I can game plan a hook n ladder and a few other trick plays into the mix.
I really hope we get to experiment not only with the 3-4, but I would love to try out a 3-3-5, a 5-2, and a 4-4. Even a 4-6 Buddy Ball defense would be cool to tinker with.

While we are bitching and complaining, I have had it with chemistry. I am sure it has cost my team a few games this season. How can I compete with the bad ass teams in this league if I get punished for bringing in better talent?

My team overachieved with lesser talent last season to get to this league. What has your team ever done besides fail with the best overall talent?

Through talking down to you for now. I hope we can still be friends though.
