Hi, I just retired a star player to make a new one for this season but the progress bar is not reset. I've gone through many tier levels.

What's wrong? Can this be fixed before the season starts?

Is your progress bar full and just doesn't say "Ready" or is it not full?

It's not full.

It says I went through 6/8 tiers. I retired a star who went through 10 more tiers. Now no star.

S* players don't add to the progress bar. Only regular or practice players do.

Whenever I make a S* player I immediately make a practice player and run him through the tiers to build my progress bar back up to full.

Ok, thank you. I had 3 star players. I retired them to make a new rookie team now I only have 2 star players. If this is correct I don't get it.

Retiring S* players only allows you to make new S* players but does not influence the progress bars.

Only running regular and practice players up through the tiers will add to the progress bars.

So, you'll need to make sure all three progress bars are full prior to making three new S* players.

It is confirmed that my star player progress is not working. I had a star WR, deleted him, and could not remake him which was weird. Now my star progress has been stuck on 6/8 since last season. This WR is a Journeyman, just completed another tier, and my progress is still 6/8. https://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/374211

tier is the whole bar, not just a star. Once he rolls over to pro you should see it tick up to 7. Pickup players can dramatically speed up that progress as they can complete tiers in short order so long as you keep logging back in every hour or so to put them into another pickup game.
