Good afternoon everyone I am Jayadamo and this is the week 6 edition of Casual Pro News. Before we get started I would like to send a special FU out to the Metal Militia. That beating was disrespectful and most likely a felony. I have reported it to the authorities but they refuse to act on it.
Today's guests will be the heart and soul of the Hattgenstein Volunteers. When we brought the Vols back after I believe a 2 to 3 year break we didn't have a real plan, just a bunch of people that had mostly been away from dotball for a while coming together to have some fun. I came back because Sabataged asked me and said Maxxmisery was back too. They were the glue during the 1st go around for the Vols. Due to RL stuff Sab has been away for the most part and Maxx is busy with his lady boy prostitution ring he runs in Thailand. (Miss you guys)!
I don't know much about running a dotball team other than paying the flex to own it which is where my 3 awesome guests come in. Sugar Kapaa, BM7 (Gmaj), and Ahoda have put in the work and turned what I thought would be a season or two and done team into a decently competitive Casual Pro team. We joke around with each other a lot but I genuinely appreciate their effort to making the team competitive and GLB fun again.

Jay: My apologies, I wasn't paying attention to anything you guys said, I was watching replays of Vanderbilt putting up over 60 points at Hawaii and was wonder how the hell that happened. Moving on, how did you get involved with Hattgenstein and what do you do there?
Ahoda: Started way back in midevil times when I met this guy named Jayadamo. He raised me as a young boy, and showed me the way of being a man. Honestly, Jay pulled me out of retirement for like the 5th time. Met him during the addicts days playing mafia games and shooting the shit. Man, those were the days. All my dots suck so jokes on him.
Jay: Your HB is slow as molasses but I still love him. BM7/Gmaj or whatever you call yourself these days, same question for you.
Gmaj: Long story long… 10ish years ago I had tired of GLB and ended up playing a very basic form of the “Mafia” game in the GLB forums. After a few months I got invited to the “Advanced” Mafia forum, where I met all the agents that currently make up the Vols.
Fast forward to season 89ish… I was reminded through Facebook and other various web forums that the Vols had been rebooted. I had previously declined to join the reboot because I just wasn’t ready to jump back into dot building and game planning. But, like a fool, I asked for access to the Vols team forum. After observing for about a season, I spouted off that maybe a few players should be swapped out on STs. The next thing I know I have full ST privileges and the ST-coord title, and Jay says “Just do whatever. We don’t give a shit about STs. LolSTs!”. Anyway, I must have done OK because they have let me hang around since then.
SK: A bit unsure to be honest. I do feel sorry for the fall of uninspired classic football programs, much like Newcastle. However the suckage has brought me down to medioric levels. I am here to stay and collect my McDonald's bags only. I have zero desire to improve this Vols program, attempting to collecting gold trophies. Most of the boys here just call me Nathan, thinking about joining West Ham next season.

Jay: Gmaj, as an ousux fan, how do you feel running this team with Longhorn, Vol, and Wolverine fans? How the heck does that even work?
Gmaj: They are all nice about it for the most part, but not the Wolverine fan. The Wolverine fan ALWAYS tells me the painful truth. There is never any sugarcoating coming from this man.
Jay: SK, I heard we are taking a break from the annual Red River Casual Shootout this season. I know I appreciated the effort the last few seasons. Do you plan to bring it back?
SK: I absolutely plan to bring it back. I've always enjoyed putting together this event every season. The S93 event was intertwined with personal events. There were stretches of days of personal neglect. Early fall will contain much the same. I'll take a one season step back and plan for S95 after I get all the kids settled in school. In the meantime, I, and I hope the lot of you, will pm Support and/or DD and/or corndog to see if prior finishers will get trophies applied to their team page. Corndog has nothing better to do than to troll political posts in General Forum anyway...

I am writing as a concerned user in regards to the ruling of "no new tournament gifs for team profiles" as discuss and reflected within the Support Forum here: http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=5229343&page=1#49008230. The "no new tournament gifs for team profiles" seems to be out-dated and unnecessary. It would be a nice jester to the user base if new tournament gifs were added to team profiles.
The RED RIVER DOUBLE ELIMINATION CASUAL SHOOTOUT is a well run tournament that generates the spending of flex for WG Games. Many of the teams and agents are from the older user base spending flex in order to participate. It would be disappointing to eventually shut it down because the lack of a trophy gif.

Ahoda: Indeed.....F them hard. But the Militia are quickly becoming my most hated FU team. Seriously, F them too.
Gmaj: I call them Daddy. They are the most frustrating team in GLB right now. I feel like the Vols and FUS are close as far as dot builds, and I feel that the Vols gameplans are solid, but FUS beat the absolute dog shit out of us on a consistent basis. Other than that, no problem.
SK: I have much respect for FU Shoreline Big Gulp Swallowers. There are certain matchups that create an overwhelming advantage for them. We as a staff have evaluated certain positions and believe we have created an atmosphere that is more competitive to our roster. In stead of playing a back 4, you'll see Vols play more of a 343 to create more pressure in the attacking and middle third. Our defensive third should give us much more flexibility going forward playing out of the back. Might just fuck around and play a false 9.

SK: Honestly, it's difficult to pick against the Canadian that went to Texas Tech and the midwestern, The Stadium of Light, the Sunderland. Can you imagine the culture shock of a Canuck schooling in the gonorrhea capital of the world, a dental hygienist's paradise, eh? Those Canadians have one hell of a roster with some of the best coordinators in the Casual game. Our modern day ManCity. But that midwesterner, that ole Antonio Conte, knows his personnel, knows his formations. May be the last hurray for both current rosters. Will be a great season.
