Good afternoon and welcome to the 3rd episode of Casual Pro News. I am your host Jayadamo and today our special guest will be Sunder B! We will also recap week 1 and I will give my week 2 predictions.
Let's get things started by introducing a man that really does not need an introduction...... Sunder B!!
Note: All interviews were conducted during the preseason.
Sunder B comes to the stage with intro music playing:

Jay: It is a pleasure to have you. I know you are a busy man so I we will get right into the interview. Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
Sunder B: I'm a middle aged father of three adults. I live in the nw suburbs of Chicago and I work in international freight.
Jay: In what season did you start your team and how did you come up with the name?
Sunder B: I honestly don't remember when we started it. My real life buddy Aaron Rodgers 12 decided to buy a team if I would recruit and run it. He and I are huge fans of the movie slap shot, so the team name was an easy choice. He took a bit of a step back and first turned the team over to Spider, and then when Spider took a step back, I stepped in to finally own the team that I have run for many seasons.
Jay: The Chiefs are Casual Pro royalty with 6 Championships and I believe 10 second place finishes. How do you feel about this upcoming season?
Sunder B: I always feel good about the Chiefs. Our conference is very tough, so never a sure thing, but I always like our chances to represent our conference in the title game. The Kops are still the class of the league, but they can be beat on any given sim.
Jay: I know they are a tough team but they seemed to be having a down year and then went on a tear. Did the Shoreline loss in the playoffs catch you off-guard?
Sunder B: Not at all. I have tons of respect for Shoreline and they always play us tough. We may have the overall head to head edge, but every game is close and I knew they were capable of beating us.
Jay: What is your pre-season prediction for the championship game and the winner?
Sunder B: I predict the Kops will win gold again. Anyone in our conference is capable to face them, but I will put my name on the bulletin board and claim the Chiefs will rebound to make it back to the championship game.
Jay: Is there anything else you would like to say?
Sunder B: Despite my long answers above, I am not one to talk alot. I am still addicted to this game. I will never have an interest in putting in the time required to be competitive in WL. Cas Pro is the 2nd toughest league in this game, and I'm just proud to be a part of its history.
Jay: Thank you for taking the time to talk to us and best of luck this season!
Week 1 Recap
Philadelphia Phrenzy vs. Shoreline Big Gulp Kickers
Prediction FUShoreline 48-34 Actual FU Shoreline 48-27
Victor Smalls is a beast. 59/80 for 621 yards and 4 TDs. He also threw 4 picks but still an amazing performance.
Hattgenstein Volunteers vs. Charlestown Chiefs
Prediction: Chiefs 58-27 Actual: Vols 24-22
The only game I don't feel bad about predicting wrong. I am kind of surprised but the Vols are known for some early big wins before falling off a cliff. Nice job by Sugar Kapaa and BM7 for having the team ready.
Nassau Nightmare vs Metal Militia
Prediction: Metal 27-21 Actual: Nightmare 30-20
Jandrews is not messing around this season. He took my 6th place prediction and slapped me in the face with it. He also almost pulled an upset on my league champion pick. My apologies good sir.
Chaos On the farm vs.Austin Longhorns
Prediction: Chaos 255-0 Actual: Chaos 255-0
Nailed it, I hate the longhorns.
Steel City Kops vs.River City Ransom
Prediction: Kops 79-38 Actual: Kops 66-17
I am already getting the feeling the Kops defense is better than last season. They had 11 INTs which is 4 above their average. We may all be in for a world of hurt this season.
Granite Peak Grizzlies vs. Ghost Creek Cowboys
Prediction: Grizzlies 45-31 Actual: Grizzlies 27-26
Granite got the winning TD with 1:09 left. The Cowboys had their chances with 4 2nd half scoring drives but each of them ended in FGs.
Week 2 Predictions:
Phrenzy vs Volunteers
Tough game for Phrenzy in week 1 and a very big win for the Vols against the Chiefs. Vols go in to Philly and win on a last second FG.
Vols 23-21
Game of the week
Chiefs vs Militia
Hard to believe one of these teams is going to start the season in an 0-2 hole.
Chiefs 27-20
Shoreline vs Nassau
Shoreline is just a really really hot team and it is hard to pick against them. I may buy a Victor Smalls jersey.
Shoreline 45-28
SCK vs Chaos
Just curious how many INTs the Kops will get.
SCK 72-26
Ghost Creek vs CPU
GCC 255-0
River City vs Granite Peak
River city easily got the toughest start of the schedule of all the new teams.
Grizzlies 34-20
That will do it for today's episode, good luck to everyone in week 2 and don't forget that if you are ever caught sleeping at work just slowly raise your head and say "in Jesus name I pray, Amen".
