Welcome back and thank you for tuning in to this weeks edition of Casual Pro News. This week I will sit down with McMunson57 the owner of the Shoreline Big Gulp Kickers and Chaos on the Farm. I will also release my round 1 Casual Tournament and week 1 predictions.

Let's get this party started and welcome McMunson57!

McMunson57 enters the room and intro music plays.

Jay: Welcome good sir, it is a pleasure to have you here today. Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

McMunson57: Life long Washington Huskies fan and overall Football nut! I Played Football in HS then joined the Army. When I got back I played a little semi-pro ball. Been Married for 30 years and our youngest son now plays football at the same Middle school I did. I'm disability retired and GLB gives me Football in the offseason.

Jay: Thank you for your service! In what seasons did you start your teams and how did you come up with the names?

McMunson57:I have had a few teams but the Shoreline Big Gulp Kickers started in S22. My best friend "Brother in all but blood", that I grew up with got me started in GLB. As kids growing up we used to see who could punt their mostly empty super big gulps the farthest. Just a memory of a time before life got real. LOL

Jay: That was an amazing late season run after a 9-7 regular season that almost won you a championship with Shoreline. What do you think caused the regular season struggles and what caused the turnaround?

McMunson57: For the most part, I just think Casual Pro can be like that for Shoreline. We can beat almost anyone but it also can easily go the other way. For instance, it seems we have been splitting games with Charlestown in the regular season and coming up short in the playoffs. This season they took both regular season games and we snuck past them in the playoffs. We have been beating
Hattgenstein consistently but by a razor-thin margin. This season they got us at our house. I think Steel City has been the only team to consistently dominate us. I was pleased with our tactics and play in the Championship but ultimately we still came up short.

Jay: Chaos was much improved and seems to be getting closer to being a Shoreline equal than the B team. Any chance we ever see Shoreline vs Chaos in the title game?

McMunson57: That would mean upsetting Steel City. The Farm has some very good dots but as a whole, we are just fighting to be competitive and make the league better.

Jay: What is your pre-season prediction for the championship game and the winner?

McMunson57: I'd say the odds are always on the Chiefs VS the Kops and maybe after the early exit the Chiefs bounce back and get the gold?

Jay: Is there anything else you would like to say before you go?

McMunson57: First off, Thanks for doing this! I can't wait to read about all the other team owners!!!! I have some great agents that build dots for Shoreline and The Farm! They are really what keeps me going at this game. They and the other team owners and agents keep Casual Pro Awesome!

Jay: After all of the beatings you have given me over the years it was a pleasure to finally get the chance to sit down and get to know you a bit. Good luck this season and as always FUShoreline!

Casual Tournament Predictions

Round 1

Metal Militia vs Bye
That Bye spot would have been a good place for the Vols but their owner sucks and forgot to register. Metal advances.

Shoreline Big Gulp Kickers
vs River City Ransom
The CP runners up take the round 1 game.

NFL ALLSTARS™ vs Arctic Smurfin' Wolfpack
The Allstars have a huge level advantage but I picking the Wolfpack to pull the upset.

Granite Peak Grizzlies vs Juarez Jalapeños
Like the Kansas City Chiefs playing the Vanderbilt Commodores.

Steel City Kops vs Las Vegas Stunners
Prokop (Rocdog) vs Sunder B is usually must see TV but not in this game.

Nassau Nightmare vs Chaos On the farm
First tough call but going to pick Nassau

Philadelphia Phrenzy vs Texas Tech Red Raiders
These predictions are getting depressing now that I see more Prokop and Sunder B teams are creeping towards casual pro. Looks like the Vols may have to try their luck in rookie.

Charlestown Chiefs vs Ghost Creek Cowboys
It's the Chiefs. I do like the Ghost Creek name though.

Week 1 Predictions

Game of the Week

Philadelphia Phrenzy vs. Shoreline Big Gulp Kickers
The newest team to the league who is predicted to make the most noise vs thee defending Western Conference champions. This should be a good one. Going to go with Shoreline on the road, not because there is a huge talent difference, just because jacksands won't return my phone calls. FUShoreline 48-34

Hattgenstein Volunteers vs. Charlestown Chiefs
More proof that Bort hates me. Week 1 having to play a motivated Chiefs team. Will Vols coordinator Sugar Kapaa pull off a huge win at home to start the season or will Gmaj jinx us and Charlestown beat us to a pulp? Chiefs 58-27

Nassau Nightmare vs.Metal Militia
Going to close it out with 3 of 3 for the road teams winning. Nassau is talented but Metal could be the sneaky team to make the league championship. Metal 27-21

Chaos On the farm vs.Austin Longhorns
This is depressing and I am pretty confident with this pick. Chaos 255-0

Steel City Kops vs.River City Ransom
River City gets the 1st shot at the champs and they get to do it at the Ransom Grounds. Welcome to CP, this prediction is not a knock on the Ransom but a reflection of what this juggernaut can do. Kops 79-38

Granite Peak Grizzlies vs. Ghost Creek Cowboys
No chance I am going against my league champion prediction week 1. Grizzlies 45-31

Thank you all again for watching, next week our special guest will be coming from the Mount Rushmore of Casual Pro as I will talk to the owner of the Charlestown Chiefs, Sunder B! Enjoy week 1 of the new season and remember that if you don't remember her name in the morning, take her to Starbucks.

Great read!

And don’t worry Jay, Texas Tech is just a feeder team for SCK so you won’t have to get your butt kicked by 2 of my teams all season long

Also hoping we don’t have to play shoreline in the gold game again. They owe us an ass kicking for sure.

Hey, you didn't ask him why his QB in Chaos keep throwing picks left and right just to get MVP, is ridiculous you know!

Another good read Jay!

4-2 on the week with a couple of small upsets. You might want to rethink your League Champion pick
