We hate your implementation of Chemistry. It's been a source of player frustration for 60+ seasons. Many people have mentioned it being re-worked, most recently Adderfist on the GLB2 Academy Discord (I'm stealing his Easy Going idea). Here's a rework idea that keeps the mechanic, but in a different way.

First, all new signings start at 100 Chemistry in what is now the 50 Chemistry grace period (off-season and first week of season).
Second, the Chemistry cap is based on the number of S* on the roster (or an adjusted number where the first few S* don't count but the rest do). The more S* on the roster the less Chemistry the team has. It could be 1 point per S* or 2 points or whatever.
Third, a Trait like Easy-Going on a player adjusts the S* cap before Chem hit by 1.
Fourth, each player on a Low Salary adds to the Chemistry problem. Low Contract players reduce the Chem max for each player on the team by 1.

Some math examples of what could work:

10 S* Team has max Chem of 90. 1 point per S*. Could be 2 points per S* and have a max Chem of 80.
10 S* Team has max Chem of 85 because each S* lowers the cap by 2 (making it 80) but 5 normal players have Easy Going (+5 to max Chem cap).
15 S* Team with 5 Low Contract players has a max Chem of 65 because each S* is a 2 point hit and each Low contract player is a 1 point hit. There are no players with Easy Going to offset this.

There are many teams that currently have 10+ S* on them and it isn't hard to build a 14 or 15 S* team. I've outlined a 17 S* team (that may be too weird to work, but whatever).

There's no way this was your eventual intention with S*. A 17 S* team using 5 Low contract players. But if it's going to be allowed I'll guess I'll do it but doesn't a 60 season agent like myself have enough of an edge against newer players that this roster abomination is a bridge too far?

Why the downvotes? This is a good idea. It's a way for newer agents who can't gather teams full of S* to stand a chance against the seasoned Vets who can. It also facilitates an environment where the use of them is more substantial because of the cost of having too many on a team.

The placement of S* will be more strategic, more scarce, and overall make the game more fun I feel. But to each their own I guess.

1 issue I see is that you are making all S* the same. Nobody would make low tier S* anymore.
