I got a guess. Some people, rather than buy permanent AEQ at the start, wait until level 79 is reached, then rent AEQ based on what the coaches want. I've considered it... would need to really do some serious math to figure out if I'm saving money (flex) or losing it. Because you don't get AEQ flex back.
