J Marter has been a huge part of re-invigorating this forum. I hope things in his real world smooth out enough so he can be back with us soon.

Ouch, gut punch.
Yeah, I have been slacking a whole lot this season guys. I apologize. Primarily, lots going on with work. Got elected to the union board and we have pure chaos going on right now. Couple that with a little of the banter straying into personal attacks recently and I just stepped back for a bit. Going to try to put something together tomorrow as a playoff preview.

EDIT: As it seems to me, headed into the WL Sweepstakes: Nomad looks like a shoe-in for PPL. HHWC in SLAP appears to be a solid choice. Finally, Back St should take down TSW in Europe. The Battle Royale seems to be in NAPL where VBA and WAR are on a collision course to decide the final WL spot. I am leaning towards VBA, but it is possible that Chaos may have the last word. NAPL should be fun to watch unfold.

Hope TSW goes up because next season SWAT & Odyssey will be with them in Europe.

Fwiw, Chaos beat VBA and split vs WAR in the regular season. But I agree, it looks like a 3-team race.

Btw do you know how demote WL teams work when they reset? If back street didn't win the promo I'm sure 4th would just give their spot, but if back street earns a promo, who get's 4th's spot in WL? Hopefully a promoting Natty pro team not a current WL demotee right?

also, 4th Street could just stay there and swap with some other team

Is there a thread somewhere discussing the logic behind all of the league/conference changes that are seemingly done to cherry-pick where the better teams/networks want to go dominate lower teams in order to make sure they don't have to compete with each other until championship games? I'm sure there's an agreed upon logic to it, just looks like a Kim Jong-Un managed football league to the uneducated independent outsider.

Should just keep it going, first season decline is not so bad

Have you ever kept a full decline team in WL? I'd be curious how they did?
