- Welcome to the Second season of Dragon league! Where the men are men, the women are few, and the tigers are mighty restless...
And this is Biff Barf! Soaking up all the news, and barfing it back at you! Along with my color commentator Spaceman Spiff, we've jumped ship from the Tiger League and are slumming it here in Dragon!
-Well if you hadn't insulted half the league in your comments last season...
Oh they are just mad we started getting more ratings in the end of the season!
- Dragon league was pretty competitive among themselves in rookie ball last season.
Then enough yapping, Let's get straight to the action!
(how to tame your) DRAGON LEAGUE!

Oklahoma City Angelswin convincingly at home against the Anchorage Ducks, 21-7.

Beta Division
1 Knoxville Outlaws 1-0-0
2 Obscure References 1-0-0
3 Oakland Pirates 0-1-0
4 Virginia Roosters CPU 0-1-0

Obscure Referencesget past the Oakland Pirates, 14-0 to start the season at home.

Gamma Division
1 Bay Area's Best Builds 1-0-0
2 Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money 1-0-0
3 Texas Magnums 0-1-0
4 Tampa Matadors CPU 0-1-0
Texas Magnums are waylaid at home by the Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money, 0-10.
Bay Area's Best Builds win the home opener with ease against the Tampa Matadors, 35-0.

Still to early to call it but as for this report. Turn out the lights!
-Spaceman Spiff saying on behalf of my colleague and myself, until next time!

Biff Bart here! Soaking up all the news and barfing it back at you! Along with my stooge Spaceman Spiff spitting that stuff so slick-
- Seriously, that's how you intro me?
Less is more Spiff, remember that.
- yeah, right.
Second game of the league season is in the books!
- Yep, and things are getting a little clearer as to who the front runners will be THIS season.
Let's get straight to the action!

Dragon (breath) League
Alpha Division
1 Oklahoma City Angels 2-0-0
2 Anchorage Ducks CPU 1-1-0
3 Orlando Thunder CPU 1-1-0
4 Nashville Flyers 0-2-0
Nashville Flyers were beaten at home as Oklahoma City Angels took another W, 6-14.
Anchorage Ducks proved to be the better computer driven team, out performing the Orlando Thunder, 21-7.
- Alpha Division edge goes to OK.C.A. with one more division game left in the first phase.
Less is more, remember? Get ready Angels, Orlando is bringing the Thunder, NEXT!
Beta Division
1 Obscure References 2-0-0
2 Knoxville Outlaws 1-1-0
3 Oakland Pirates 0-1-1
4 Virginia Roosters CPU 0-1-1
Knoxville Outlaws get caught red-handed by some Obscure References, 7-19.
Oakland Pirates are shocked by the Virginia Roosters who pull out all the stop and manage to kiss their sister, 10-10.
- Obscure References jump out to the early lead in Beta.
It still only counts as one game! Pirates versus Outlaws, NEXT!
Gamma Division
1 Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money 2-0-0
2 Bay Area's Best Builds 2-0-0
3 Texas Magnums 0-2-0
4 Tampa Matadors CPU 0-2-0
Texas Magnums barely avoid getting shut out at home as Bay Area's Best Builds win a blowout, 3-41.
Tampa Matadors are gored in the um... by the Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money, 0-21.
- it's turned into a two horse race early on but the Magnums will get a chance to right the ship as they face the lone divisional CPU team.
SRDM4M versus BABB, NEXT!

Biff Barf here! Soaking up all the news and barfing it back at you!
- This week, Divisions get their front runners set and we end the Divisional first round of games!
Yeah some division were kinda weak.
- what?
Let's get straight to the action!

.: Dragon League Teams :.

Alpha Division
1 Oklahoma City Angels 2-1-0
2 Anchorage Ducks CPU 2-1-0
3 Orlando Thunder CPU 2-1-0
4 ...Miola Maulers... 0-3-0
Anchorage Ducks were shocked they stole one from the Miola Maulers at home, 20-0.
Orlando Thunder brought the thunder and shock the Oklahoma City Angels at home, 13-7.
I gotta say, Alpha Division is looking a lot like...
- Don't say it Biff, it might be true but it's not nice.
I don' giva
- Still you haven't seen them against the other Divisions yet!
They still looking like a bunch Betas, there I said it, YOU JUST DON'T LOSE TO CPUs AFTER ROOKIE! Come on Owners, you can do better! You can build those rosters and hire coaches, set game plans, tactics, and BEAT THOSE CPUs!
-Sigh, next...

Beta Division
1 Obscure References 3-0-0
2 Knoxville Outlaws 1-1-1
3 Oakland Pirates 0-1-2
4 Virginia Roosters CPU 0-2-1
Oakland Pirates are slowly waking as they now kiss their sisters for a second week with Knoxville Outlaws, 7-7.
FBI agents have been called to investigate.
Virginia Roosters lose at home to a bunch of Obscure References, 6-12.
- O.R. now has a solid grip on the Beta Lead.
At least they didn't let a CPU win one for the Gipper.

Gamma Division
1 Bay Area's Best Builds 3-0-0
2 Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money 2-1-0
3 Tampa Matadors CPU 1-2-0
4 Texas Magnums 0-3-0
Tampa Matadors get a powerful half time speech to "Win one for the Commodore64!" and beat the Texas Magnums, 13-7 with a late 4th quarter TD.
Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money get their ass-hats handed to them by Bay Area's Best Builds, 10-24.
Oh boy the BABBs really did a number on the SRDM4M defense, running for good avg. passing to WRs like they were playing a practice game...
-It was clearly a bad game plan and CPU player mix that set up the win for Bay Area's Best.
The best of Divisions and yet still fragile...
- Well that's it for this week.
I'm Biff and He's, not, saying so long til next time! Excelsior!!
- Hey, there might be a copyright on that one...

Biff Barf here! Soaking up all the News and...
- And?
My College Spaceman Spiff?
- Yes, Finally...
And wishing all of you out there a Blessed Resurrection Sunday!
- (whew) Indubitably!
Dragon League continues it's unstoppable march through the season like Gen. Sherman through the South!
- That's a rather, um, vivid description there...
That's right! So, let's get straight to the action!

_-= Dragon League =-_

Alpha Division
1 Anchorage Ducks CPU 3-2-0
2 Orlando Thunder CPU 3-2-0
3 Oklahoma City Angels 2-3-0
4 Miola Maulers... 0-5-0
Anchorage Ducks Win at home against the Texas Magnums, 9-6.
- CB Markus Smith had 2 Int, 5 Tk, and a TFL, while K. Darrell Fox made 3 FGs., one from 47 yards out, to seal the win.
Orlando ThunderJuuust edge out the Oakland Pirates at home, 17-13.
- WR Adrian Joyner had over 119 RecYds and a RecTD in a losing effort as Orlando improved to share the lead in Alpha.
You really like to share just random bit of BS don't you.

Beta Division
1 Obscure References 4-1-0
2 Knoxville Outlaws 2-2-1
3 Oakland Pirates 1-2-2
4 Virginia Roosters CPU 1-3-1
Oklahoma City Angels get walloped at home by Obscure References, 7-36.
- These references scored early and often to leave no doubt as to the outcome by the time the Angels got on the board in the third.
No Doubt the Angels were knocked out!

Gamma Division
1 Bay Area's Best Builds 5-0-0
2 Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money 4-1-0
3 Tampa Matadors CPU 2-3-0
4 Texas Magnums 1-4-0
Miola Maulers get manhandled in a loss to the Bay Area's Best Builds, 3-48.
- HB Demarcus Lamburg rushed for two TDs on 122 yards and caught another TD pass while DE Dominic Madsen recorded a Forced Fumble, two sacks and 2 hurries for Best Builds in a lopsided win.
Un- Believe- able!
Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money keep one off the pace as they play down to Virginia Roosters' level in a win, 5-0.
- HB Emanuel Quinones won OMVP honors and LB Phil 'God Father' Villapiano did the DMVP for the game.
That's... interesting.
- Also DT Wallace Valentine got a safety late to seal the deal. Only a FG was needed from K. Slots Solacesta though to get the win as the SRDM4M defense pitched a shutout.
Tampa Matadors upset the visiting Knoxville Outlaws, 10-7.
- QB Jesse Givens, of the Matadors, threw a pass to TE Craig Ruiz, who made the catch for a 16 yard gain and a touchdown with only thirty seconds left in the 4th!
With the Outlaws' QB, Joe Cool, handing off to HB Zane Insane for a 1 yard loss and him being tackled by LDE Luciano Crabtree for a safety!
- Yes, those, and then the Matadors QB Jesse Givens handing off to HB Dmitri Bland to complete the two point conversion was all the scoring needed for the win!

Biff Barf here! Soaking up all the news and barfing it back at you. Along with my co-host Spaceman Spiff we fight to right the wrongs of fake sports throughout the-
- I think you overshot there Biff...
Whatever. It's getting pretty clear who the front runners are in Beta and Gamma, now we just need Alpha to step up.
- True that, and Dragon League is also getting some respect from Tiger league too!
Let's get straight to the action!

Alpha Division
1 Anchorage Ducks CPU 4-3-0
2 Orlando Thunder CPU 4-3-0
3 Oklahoma City Angels 2-5-0
4 Miola Maulers 1-6-0
Still a topsy turvey world in alpha as the CPUs have pulled ahead by two and the owners try to learn code in order to keep up!
Anchorage Ducks slap silly another human owner in the Oakland Pirates, 6-3.
Orlando Thunder win a baseball game score at home over the Tampa Matadors, 3-0.

Beta Division
1 Obscure References 6-1-0
2 Knoxville Outlaws 3-3-1
3 Virginia Roosters CPU 2-4-1
4 Oakland Pirates 1-4-2
Obscure References are pretty prominent in Beta leading by 2 and a half.
Miola Maulers get shut out at home and it still seems like a good game for them! Lose to Obscure References, 0-10.
- WR Josephus Bigglesworth had 119 yard on 9 catches in a losing effort. But OR's DE Garland Greene was able to generate 2 FFums, 4 sacks, and 11 hurries in the win.
Texas Magnums are embarrassed by the Virginia Roosters, 0-24.

Gamma Division
1 Bay Area's Best Builds 7-0-0
2 Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money 6-1-0
3 Tampa Matadors CPU 3-4-0
4 Texas Magnums 1-6-0
Oklahoma City Angels get plastered at home by Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money, 3-41.
SRDM4M stole DT Mike Myers from the Angels and he immediately got in on a group sack and had 9 rev. cakes for them!
- 11 sacks, 2 FFums with recoveries, and an INT sealed the Angels' doom.
Bay Area's Best Builds beat down the Knoxville Outlaws, 26-0.
Three hundred and thirty TOTAL PASSING YARDS for Bay Area's quarterbacks as they completed 68% of their passes.
- Still it was Kicker Lester Dozier who gained the game OMVP for making four field goals.
It was a weird game for the BABB offense but their defense clearly was a notch above.
- Yeah, DE Sam Wellman's 5.5 sacks were amazballs for BABB never really giving the outlaws a chance to breathe.

Well that's it for this week! until next time Spaceman Spiff and I, Biff Barf are outtee 5000, see ya!

Biff Barf here, with a special ed of soaking up all the news and barfing it back at you!
- And I'm Spaceman Spiff giving it to you unfiltered and bare-backed!
The half-way point of the league season has already past us by one game and only six more contests lie before us.
- These last three inter-divisional games could make or break an agent owned team in Alpha!
Yes, there's still hope in Mudville as the mighty Casey is coming up to bat!
- Um, wrong sport there Biff...
Oh, they get what I'm spewing!
- No one wants to actually, get, what you're spewing Biff.
Bah! Let's get straight to the action!

THE Dragon League
Alpha Division

1 Orlando Thunder CPU 5-3-0
2 Anchorage Ducks CPU 4-4-0
3 Oklahoma City Angels 2-6-0
4 Miola Maulers... 2-6-0
Tampa Matadors, get there capacitors in a bunch as they lose to the Miola Maulers, 0-6.
- With the win Minola is two games from the Ducks and three from Thunder. It's conceivable that either the Angels or the Maulers could still win the division since the front-runners are both CPU!
Virginia Roosters run around like chickens with their heads cut off but still get fried in the by Orlando Thunder, 13-16.
- Of the two CPU teams clearly the Thunder is on a roll.
Rolling Thunder, I like what you did there...

Beta Division
1 Obscure References 7-1-0
2 Knoxville Outlaws 4-3-1
3 Virginia Roosters CPU 2-5-1
4 Oakland Pirates 1-5-2
Knoxville Outlaws commit battery on the Oklahoma City Angels, 13-7.
- Three games off the pace the Outlaws have a very steep hill to climb for this season's post=season but should be building solid for next with this win.
Obscure References win an easy one at home against the Texas Magnums, 27-7.
- Obscure References owner, C.Gadbois, has got to be riding high in the saddle with his team positioned to likely have the easiest road to the 'Ship.
If they win second in the league they'd get the Alpha winner, which would be a CPU team right now, while the Gamma would fight each other three times!

Gamma Division
1 Bay Area's Best Builds 8-0-0
2 Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money 7-1-0
3 Tampa Matadors CPU 3-5-0
4 Texas Magnums 1-7-0
Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money had the Anchorage Ducks for dinner, 23-10.
- The Ducks surprised the Mercs early but that just woke the EQ&K train that ran them over the rest of the game.
The Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money have a strangle hold on the Wild Card and are just one game out of the division lead.
Oakland Pirates were keel-hauled by the Bay Area's Best Builds, 3-24.
- With four of the top six OMVP candidates on roster BABB is an undefeated Juggernaut favored to win it all at this point in the season.
Who can stop them? Clearly the Pirates couldn't.
- Yeah, it doesn't hurt them that the second place in DMVP, DE Sam Wellman is also on the team.

Right now it's
1 Bay Area's Best Builds 8-0-0
1 Obscure References 7-1-0
1 Orlando Thunder CPU 5-3-0
2 Scrm'n.Red.Dev.Mercs4$ 7-1-0

With BABBs the projected provincial possible potential winner, maybe.

OK, that's it for us, I'm Biff and he's Spiff saying Keep it Filthy Clean!

Biff Barf here, soaking up all the news and barfing it back at you! Together with my intrepid college, Spaceman Spiff
- Hi
We're ready to rock your esports world with the latest Dragon dish out!
-Alpha is still a CPU Sunderland with only mathematical hopes of the Maulers or Angels pulling off a miracle.
Beta leaders prove it ain't over til it's, you know...
- and Gamma suddenly is tightening up at both top and bottom!
Let's get straight to the action!

Teams of the DRAGON (league)

Alpha Division
1 Anchorage Ducks CPU 6-4-0
2 Orlando Thunder CPU 6-4-0
3 Miola Maulers 3-7-0
4 Oklahoma City Angels 3-7-0
Tampa Matadors get carpet bombed by the Anchorage Ducks, 0-10.
- HB Michael Atkins ran in a TD in the first and K Darrell Fox made a 25 yard field goal in the second to account for all the scoring.
Decent running and throwing despite 3 turnovers kept this one in the W for the Ducks... NEXT!
Knoxville Outlaws miss a golden opportunity and lose to Orlando Thunder, 6-9.
- The Outlaws had the score tied all the way up until Orlando's final real drive. With 2:11 left to go the Thunder drove from their own 37 on 8 pass plays but only 3 completions.
Yep! drive started with a whiff, a 14 yarder, 2 more WTF throws before a one yard head scratcher...
- Then with 1:15 left on 3rd & 9 on the Outlaws 48, QB Julius Glenn threw a pass to BTE Edgardo Cochran, who made the catch for a 33 yard gain and a first down! Tackled by FS Blaine Echols on the 15, it led to three more incompletions before K Randolph Noble made the game winning 33 yard field goal.
The Outlaws did have 44 seconds to work a miracle but the passing game failed them.
Virginia Roosters get taken by the Oklahoma City Angels, 3-9.
- Six turnovers, 2 INTs and 4 lost fumbles, cause the demise of the Roosters as their run game shows up but the pass dos not. The Angels did the opposite and had little running success but were able to dissect the Roosters' secondary enough to get 3 FGs out of OMVP Theo Melton. SS Bam Bam recorded 2 FFum, his 1st Int of the season, 12 Tackles, a FumRec, and 3TFLs in a losing effort.

Beta Division
1 Obscure References 9-1-0
2 Knoxville Outlaws 4-5-1
3 Virginia Roosters CPU 2-7-1
4 Oakland Pirates 1-7-2
Obscure References edge the Bay Area's Best Builds, 23-21.
- GAME OF THE WEEK!
This one lived up to the hype!
- OR went with the old school "Three and a half yards and a cloud of dust" tactics with just enough passing to keep the BABB's defense honest.
BABB's for their part put the ball in the air and threw it like they just don't care. They threw the ball to left, to right and the receivers said "oh yeah!"
- Oh yeah!
They did try to run, but they just couldn't hide.
- BABB's notorious slow start came to bite them in the butt this time as they fell short in the fourth. They scored two TDs after half the quarter was already over leaving no time to make up the two point difference...

Gamma Division
1 Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money 9-1-0
2 Bay Area's Best Builds 9-1-0
3 Tampa Matadors CPU 3-7-0
4 Texas Magnums 3-7-0
Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money were surprised by Miola Maulers' tenacity but still beat them, 13-3.
- QB Rich "Loose" Gannon did his best Joe Flacco impersonation and the offense sputtered along as the Mauler Defense gave them all the could handle until their own offense threw the under them bus once too often.
Mauler's offense could barely run and forget about passing other than at the very outset of the game. At least they didn't turn the rock over like SRDM4M did and ended up +1 in that column.
Oakland Pirates lose at home to the Texas Magnums, 0-24.
- DarkTaker, the team owner for the Pirates, has gone inactive and with no other staff the team is dead in the water it seems.
The Magnums are in the same boat as owner khALFANIB2 is also inactive and there is not other staff for the Magnums.
- Still, Magnums' QB, David Zedler, had over 230 PassYds and a PassTD. Meanwhile LB Lawrence Randall played out of his mind with a FFum & recovery, 8 Tackles, 4 TFLs and 2 PDs. All in their solid shut-out win.

BABB's passing attack is no joke. many times the receivers were double and sometimes triple covered and they still caught it. i dont think it was bad coverage at all.. that passing was just that good.. it was insane.
