Is strength part of the equation to keep your feet while making the Interception?

Agreed.

There's a quote somewhere that says they purposely made the dot fall down and made it hard to get up to avoid too many pick 6s. In order to not fall down you need to be in wide open space, and still get a lucky roll.

Usually the better your dot is at getting Ints, the faster they seem to get up, but there is definitely some kind of RNG involved.

I also agree but wonder if maybe Agility might help? I know the SA 'Balance' is tied to it and that it's supposed to help you not get pancaked. I also know higher agility dots do recover from 'falling down' faster. Perhaps it helps with 'not falling down' when making an INT? Just thinking out loud here.

The dot in question has higher then average Agility for position. He makes the pick but its normally in the middle of the field, so maybe the space theory checks out. Now I have another Int LB on same team and he has less agility, more vision, and more strength and he is better at not falling down and has scored more pick 6s. I would say the guy who falls constantly is better at actually making the Interception. Could just be bad luck too.

The VA "Never Give Up" should help as it's supposed to help you get up faster after falling down on defense by 5% per level. However the rest of it says it helps with morale loss from being pancaked. So I don't know if it's only for being pancaked or if it covers everything, such as falling down after and INT.

Could be true. There's no telling if Bort's telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Just curious but I also wonder if height and weight also makes a difference? I know in Bort's descriptions of certain things that a tall player has better leverage but less 'balance' while a short player has less leverage but more balance. My take on that (was a question concerning O-line and D-line) was a short fat guy can hold his ground but has issues with pushing taller players around... unless he cakes them. But a tall player can push shorties around but can't knock them down as easy. I took that to a further degree by noticing the shorter the HB the quicker he makes cuts (same for WR's too)... based off of several returner builds I've done over the years. All that makes me wonder if a tall player has more trouble getting back to his feet whereas a short guy just rolls right back up?
BTW... Seric is spot on. I rarely make a dot anymore without NGU as I've seen the effects and it's just an awesome VA to have. It works on everything, Seric... missed diving tackles, pancakes, and I bet popping back up after an INT too.

There is also an option in the DAI on coverage that could be in effect depending on position and other factors that might be in the mix. It’s importance is great enough that I got kicked off the test server for telling people about it.
